We had heard mixed reviews, but left very impressed with Brine. We had the mahi mahi and scallops - both were delicious and so fresh! The service was attentive, but not overbearing. We went later in the evening and it was a fantastic dinner.

Good posing. So, yeah. Also, the hostess seemed super inconvenienced by my fiancée and I arriving 10mins early. The staff overall were off. It was as if they didn’t want to be there. This experience in addition to the food poisoning from the crab pasta was disappointing. (The crab pasta is disgusting). We really had enjoyed our previous night outs at this restaurant.

Went to dinner tonight at Brine, I’ve lived in Grosse Pointe for 12 years somehow never heard of or been here. It was outstanding, perfect atmosphere, perfect vibes, amazing service and great food. We had Michelle as our server and couldn’t ask for a better time. Knew the drinks and menu, great recommendations and a good sense of humor. It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for. 100% will be back soon.

Jerelle Moon at the oyster has done his research on the regional posters offered! Good job.

Everyone was friendly and accomodating. Staff members were very knowledgeable of their menu. There was a live band which was awesome but that may have only been because of the street fair taking place outside. Great vibe for a date night!

Came on a Friday evening, it wasn't busy or full at all. We had 4 of us ladies. We waited a while for our drinks, so we decided to go with a bottle for the next round in hopes it wouldn't take long. Food was good, but nothing to come back for. The decor and atmosphere were nice, but we were fighting fruit flies.

I have been to Brine several times in the past and decided to take a few girlfriends there this weekend after really hyping it up only to find out.... New menu and new chef that have not been advertised or posted online. The new menu was mehhhh. To start, we received cornbread which threw us all off - was this turning into a southern meal or soul food? (the Parker house rolls used to be divine). Also removed from the apps was the oysters&bubbles deal which was a perfect starter. A Caesar was added to the menu (who doesn't love a Caesar?) however, the taste of anchovies was VERY overpowering. Lobster pasta was confusing: oversized noodles wrapped around lump crab(could have made them into ravioli pockets or done larger chunks in a sauce) and left a LOT to be desired. Menu mentioned broccolini and instead we were served green beans without any warning of the change.
I am no chef so I am always grateful for the hands cooking but the place was half full at 7pm on a Saturday and I'm not sure this menu will help turn that around.

First time going today and it won't be the last! The happy hour items were delectable and from a scratch kitchen. Service was great from the manager and bar tender. Everyone was pleasant and the atmosphere was esthetically pleasing. I'll be coming back soon!

Great place-oysters fairly priced and shucked well!
Wow! We will be back. Celebrated an anniversary. Absolutely delicious. We did the Market for Two- totally worth it. Cocktails were multi-faceted & the best I’ve had in MI.
Fantastic!
Great food Great atmosphere and even better staff. My fiance and I had a great date night away from the kids at brine. Will definitely go back. One thing did surprise me though and that's how good the fries were.
Jazz quartet upstairs, incredible walleye and food, good cocktails.
