The Cracked Egg of Grosse Pointe

I love the Cracked Egg the food is delicious, nicely portionand and food always hot and the food presentation is a plus. The staff are very attentive to there customers they keep the coffee hot and coming and keep the smiles coming as well. I've never had a bad experience at this establishment when you get the chance come on in , I promise you will love the food 🤤😃

I ate here this morning I, stood at the sign that says “ wait to be seated” as 2 servers stared at me from the back, no greeting or anything, finally I sat myself and was then a server came over to take me ordee I wasll was charged 5.50 for a cup of juice i asked for orange juice with a splash or cranberry. If that splashed cost 2.00 I wouldve said no thank you. I was surprised by the gratuity as It was just me, then server said she dont receive any of it. Once I see restaurant add gratuity for single people I never return, its greed l, why am I paying to spend money in your business , its not logical at all its greed.

French toast seems like it lacked something maybe not dipped into egg long enough. Something was missing /off with its. Very disappointing.

We all went here as a family for breakfast yesterday morning and we had a great server and the food was good. The skillet was yummy. The crepe was so good and the fruit was fresh. Everything came out hot and quick. They say they have sourdough but debatable…maybe sour dough sandwich bread but not real sour dough. Coffee is average but overall I’d come back!

Food was pretty good. We got the Catfish with cheese grits and eggs. The Catfish was really Catfish and not Swai..bonus for that! However, the grits were mushy which was disappointing.

Although the service was nice, it did feel rushed, the atmosphere wasn't all that either, it felt like eating at home. The one thing I am truly disappointed about was my food, the sausages and bacon tasted like it was from save a lot and my French toast was very slimy, it felt like eating egg yolk. I would've love this place if it didn't charge us 100+ dollars for 3 people that each ordered one dish. I've never written a review before but felt like It was my duty to warn people about this place.

Firstimer. Ordered the veggie skillet. To my surprise, the eggs are not cracked shell eggs. This was rather disappointing as I do not eat liquid or powder eggs and they were not advertised as such. The potatoes were hard and over cooked. The food also missing flavor and seasoning. The meal was not edible for me and I could not eat it. The service was nice as they were friendly and attempted to replace but I was not interested.
