Love the space, convenience and offerings. We would probably come here all the time if it wasn’t for their policy on not accommodating any changes to the menu. Something as simple as the bread for sandwiches cannot be switched. My husband who has an allergy against certain nuts and seeds was not accommodated in any way. We go to a wide range of bakeries, bistros, and restaurants of all price points and have NEVER experienced such an unwillingness and frankly lack of caring about making any accommodations. It’s very off putting and disappointing.
They also can’t heat up any of their pastries.
The brisket sandwich is very tasty.
Don’t expect a good croque madame that you may be familiar with. Theirs is way too rich and I can’t recommend it.
Dietary restrictions: Do not accommodate whatsoever. Service staff didn’t care.

This is my all time favorite lunch spot! The food is beyond delicious and they make the best vanilla latte! Oh and the Olive Bread is amazing! So grateful to have the gem around!

What an outstanding bakery. I stopped in here on a Wednesday morning around 8:30 AM and am so impressed. We got a chocolate croissant, butter croissant, pumpkin croissant, drip coffee, an egg, and the hash browns. Everything was fantastic!!! Coffee had a great flavor! The ladies behind the front counter were very polite and welcoming. These were truly the best croissants I’ve ever had. Beware… it’s SO flaky that you’ll want to make sure you eat over a plate (in the best way) and order more than just one. I will definitely be returning to LeRouge bakery!!!!

Bread, pastry, and drinks were lovely. Had the Mediterranean croissant (beautiful layers, lots of flavor and crunch), the pan de cristal (thanks owner/ baker) for describing the hydration and composition- it truly was a gorgeous crumb structure and had insane shelf life.

I come here every couple of weeks or so for a coffee and some of their really great bakery items. But today i was nearby with my wife and we decided to get lunch. I ordered the Wagyu Brisket Sandwich, I swear it's the best sandwich I ever had. It was made to order and only took 3-4 mins to come to our table and it was incredible. It was cooked and served perfectly. 10/10 would recommend everyone try this specific menu item. They knocked it out of the park!

Lovely breakfast place, the croissants are so fluffy and buttery. The hangover egg sandwich is yummy and flavorful. It is on the expensive side, $11 for a small sandwhich. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

Oh my goodness my gracious! An absolute delight. I sometimes come to LeRouge with my parents when I'm home from college and it never fails to be the coziest and most welcoming experience for all of us! It's a smidge more pricey than your average bakery, but you do in fact get what you pay for! The staff are all delights, the coffee delicious, and the food scrumptious! It also helps that the interior is stunning, as if it's out of a Parisian or NYC café. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone able to make there way to the East Side bordering Detroit. An exceptional location to catch up with friends, family, or for solo dates with a book and a sweet treat. Much love to LeRouge!
