Attended and helped plan my good friends wedding and I have to say the team at Charlevoix did such an amazing job! They executed 120 person event flawless with offerings of signature cocktails, delicious and unique food a cool environment but most of all attentive 5* service from all the staff and kitchen team that made a wonderful and memorable event. I highly recommend this as your next go to destination for a dining out experience. Cheers !!!

I love this place for so many reasons, but the wings are a standout. these are the ghost pepper wings and they are legit spicy, which isn’t always the case at other bars, but also the flavor is so on point. I moved out of detroit almost a year ago and every time I visit, I make sure to stop by The Charlevoix just to get a taste of these wings again.
aside from that, the service is always fast and friendly and I’m usually find that I’m surrounded by regulars at the bar who are on a first name basis with the staff. it makes for a very warm and welcoming space.
the drinks are great as well, and all the rotating specials on the menu are fantastic. their kitchen team kills it, the food is unique and they’re taking chances with some of the not-so-typical bar fare but it always sticks the landing. there are no skips on this menu, I love it.
this place is the best and it’s seriously one of my favorite places to eat in detroit. get the katsu sandwich! get the ghost pepper wings! get the thai cheesesteak! drink a million electric lemonades! get it all, enjoy!!!!!

First time here and the food was amazing. The margarita the best I’ve had this side of the southwest! Tyler and Nick are great bartenders and their service was impeccable!

Party of 6 this past weekend. A few of us were unimpressed. Mostly because the meals were a bit heavy on the sodium. I have heard that many cooks get desensitized to salt. Maybe that was the case. I’ll give it another try as the service and atmosphere was impressive

Try one of their Po' Boy sandwiches!
(such as the Italian Beef Po' Boy or NY Chopped Cheese sandwich.) Gotta' order their 'spam and rice' topped with egg, too.
A contemporary, upbeat sort of place.
Give them a visit.
Free parking across the street.
Full bar.

Eclectic. When asked what I thought about the menu I answered ´Eclectic’. The beer and wine menu were pretty robust but I thought the cocktail menu could be improved. The food was fantastic and there were choices for all of our weird allergies and preferences. I think my favorite thing was the Cauliflower Salad.

If you like amazing food and immaculate vibes then this is your place. My husband and I find an excuse to stop here for most date nights and impromptu brunch outings!
Every single thing on their menu is amazing.
From the Collards and Coconut Salad, to the Salt and Vinegar Wings (get them lightly seasoned because a little goes a long way,) to the absolute best Fish Taco in the area. On our most recent visit we got into the Pork Katsu Sandwich which is unlike anything we've ever had before and unbelievably delicious (pictured) along with the Brunch Chilaquiles (pictured) which had a unique blast of flavor that ultimately hit the spot.
The service is always 10/10. From the bartenders, to the staff, and the cooks in the back (who don't get enough credit. )
If you're boring and only eat Kraft Mac n' Cheese or Chicken Tenders (nothing wrong with that) for every meal... then this isn't going to be the place for you. BUT.. If you're adventurous and willing to try new things while being pleasantly surprised then I highly recommend you get your butt up to The Charlevoix ASAP.
