I can practically do a whole week's grocery shopping at this little jewel of a market. And the soups! I cross town when I see Thai Peanut on the menu! Lisa and Ann are doing an amazing job.

Overall have loved this place. Great concepts, good food that is tasty and healthy. But recipes taste a little different with the new owners. The soups are way too peppery, way too spicy, black pepper overpowers everything, and the owners aren’t interested in customers’ feedback. FYI, I am a person who LOVES spicy food. Customers who say anything get brushed off and told that they think the soup is fine as is. I haven’t gone back because of this. Here’s what I would tell them if they were interested in feedback: a person can add more pepper if they prefer but for those who do not prefer it, can’t remove it. Just a thought.

This place is such a gem in the community. From their rotating menu of delicious soups and fresh pressed juices to their cooler full of sandwiches, salads, deserts and more, this is a regular lunch stop for me. They also carry a range of grocery items that are vegetarian, vegan, mindful. A sort of health food Bodega. Don't pass up on the loaves of fresh Sourdough and multigrain bread. I am also a huge fan of the fresh made avocado chocolate pudding. 10/10 can't recommend this shop enough!

What an oasis of good food and "health nut" groceries. I love this place, and whenever I am in the area I try to stop in for a sandwich and one of their excellent organic fresh soups. Never disappointed. This time was another amazing salmon sandwich and some delicious lentil soup. Thank Sprout House! Well done! Solid 5 stars.

If you've never been here , I'm sure it's great .. if you have been coming here since 1999 , it's really sad to see how things have gone down hill. I drive across town to get some of my favorites , and now when I get home , half of my items are missing . No bread , no soup , everything is overly salty , over charged , the workers seem frantic when there is only a few customers in the store ... I know they have new owners but paying high prices for smaller amounts then not even getting what you asked for with items missing , not a place I would recommend. Check your bags before you leave and the prices ..

I'm not normally one for healthy or vegetarian soups, but they knock it out of the park. Always a staple when someone gets sick and needs some healthy nourishment.

Fresh and fantastic! Tofu veggie and tofu Reuben Sammie's were amazing. Homemade cookies were to die for. Everyone was so nice! We will be back for sure. Can't wait to try the soups. Plus a nicely curated market.

Delicious spicy noodles! This humble/healthy spot named Sprout House offers many neat treats to eat near the east end of Grosse Pointe Park. Vegan friendly selections earn it two thumbs up!

Really great healthy alternatives here. I love their vegan soups. The grab and go sandwiches are great too.

My daughter and l attended a WDET fundraiser here. It's a small store that is packed with great products, and some of them are made by local business owners.
