When it was time to throw a few friends their milestone birthday parties at my house this summer there was only one clear choice as to who to get my cakes from! Classics From Scratch has the absolute best carrot cake hands down and i have tried plenty over the years. I have picked up some individual slices from Village Market in Grosse Pointe Park when shopping over the past year and my husband now requests it anytime I'm there.
We have also had their key lime cake and grandmas chocolate both to die for!
They will/can deliver to your house which is super convenient. If you are doing a birthday they have cute personalized birthday banners they can add to your order if you request them to stick into the cakes. They communicated 48 hours prior to delivery to make sure we had everything correct and come pick up the pans they deliver them in when you are all done! Super friendly lovely company!

Same day response, timely delivered twice due to the incorrect wrong address at first. Baked freshly from scratch, which becomes rare nowadays, but important for health, also very delicious! Oatmeal chocolate chip, hummingbird cake and chocolate raspberry brownies are just some of the new favorites in this house. That is in addition to the chocolate chip, peanut butter, ginger snap, thumb print and oatmeal raisin cookies we have tried before. An out of state friend contacted Classics from Scratch to deliver some birthday baked goods to me. Yesterday half a dozen marble brownies were delivered to my door. I tried one and they are PHENOMENAL!! I’ve also had their cupcakes and cookies in the past and everything has been fantastic!!
