I’ve used Classics from Scratch several times now and I count myself as one of Laura’s biggest fans! Hosting afternoon tea has become a fun hobby at my house and the delicious muffins, cookies and cakes fit beautifully into an afternoon of indulgence. We recently had the lemon cake and my guests were amazed at the fresh, zippy taste of real lemon juice and zest coming through in every bite. We also greatly enjoyed mini banana muffins and mini chocolate chip cookies, which were perfect one or two bite blasts of homemade flavor. Laura doesn’t use mixes or pre-made fillings - it’s all made from scratch and with love, and I can make taste that commitment to quality in every tantalizing bite!

When it was time to throw a few friends their milestone birthday parties at my house this summer there was only one clear choice as to who to get my cakes from! Classics From Scratch has the absolute best carrot cake hands down and i have tried plenty over the years. I have picked up some individual slices from Village Market in Grosse Pointe Park when shopping over the past year and my husband now requests it anytime I'm there.
We have also had their key lime cake and grandmas chocolate both to die for!
They will/can deliver to your house which is super convenient. If you are doing a birthday they have cute personalized birthday banners they can add to your order if you request them to stick into the cakes. They communicated 48 hours prior to delivery to make sure we had everything correct and come pick up the pans they deliver them in when you are all done! Super friendly lovely company!
