Da Edoardo - Grosse Pointe

A long time staple in the community, I had the quattro formaggi pizza and the Lombardi pizza, both were very good! My wife and I enjoyed them both and brought the extras home with us. Highly recommended!

My food was just ok. They dont have many options when its comes to vegetables and starch. I guess it's one vegetable of the day and one starch. I got a medium well steak that came out medium rare. When I sent it back it came out burnt. Only 3 little potatoes and 2 stalks of asparagus. The salad was shameful. The drink was very. Good. Not enough food for the price. It wasn't bad. I'll just never go back. The server was ok. I had to ask other people to go get.

Outstanding food with even better service. We sat in the bar area and were blessed to have Isabell as our server while she was also bartending. I took my 97 year old Father for Father’s Day and she handled him perfectly. The excellent food was a bonus. I’ve been in the restaurant business for 50+ years and I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

Went to Da Edorado last night. We sat on the patio and it was very relaxing! We had Abe as our waiter and he was great. We got the calamari as our app and unfortunately we had to send it back due to it sitting in a pool of oil. We received a new one, and this one had way too much batter. If you look at our plates and in the bowl, you’ll see all the batter we had to take off. Abe was very accommodating and took it away because he saw we were not happy.
My friend got a dirty martini (the description says olive juice and blue cheese olives) and it came out with just Hendricks. Was a little confused by that but we sent it back and got a new one!
I got the house salad with chicken and she got the chicken Marsala - both were great.
We were there for 3 hours so definitely longer than we’d like - our dinner took quite a bit to come out.

I probably won’t be back but I appreciate Abe being very accommodating.

The food at Da Edoardo reminded me of the Italian sauces that I tried in my country before. Very fresh salads. All delicious! 👌
The staff at this restaurant is extremely friendly.
The place has a lot of style.

Waitress Lisa was so accommodating and real! Loved her! Couldn’t have had a better first date experience ! She made it really easy to be ourselves! I would ask for her again !!!

Lisa was amazing! She was friendly and so helpful. Her knowledge of the mene was so good and her recommendations were were spot on. I would suggest asking for her, especially if you are going for the first time.

Excellent! Had flaming Young, all I have to say is kudos to the chef.

I made a reservation on 9/19 to sit at the bar @ 6:45 PM .
Upon arrival the hostess was busy trying to seat a party of four .
There were two empty seats at the bar with table settings , my husband after working a long day proceeded to go sit at the bar .
The bartender with spiky blonde hair proceeded to scream at him , you can’t sit there it’s for my call in customer’s & their on there way ! I have never encounter such nastiness from a bartender in my life !
After that a woman came out from the back and proceeded to tell us she could sit us in another dining room but we would have to walk outside to go into that dining room as there was a private party going on !
She walked us out onto the street to another dining room .
The server was less than attentive and the food was OK !
I guess you have to be a long time regular to get service or good service !
This is a shame as there are very many restaurants in the Pointes .

Da Edoardo’s was great, food was awesome as always.

Since taking my lady here during our early days of our courtship, it had become one of her favorite places to eat. She enjoys the food and the house wine. We visit once every few months.

We’re repeat customers and love this place! We dined last night and the food and service were wonderful! Mackenzie was our waitress and she provided amazing service! She has a great personality and very attentive…she never missed a beat with us! We enjoyed fresh bread, tasty cocktails, salads, and the best shrimp Alfredo we’ve ever had! The live music was a nice touch to our dining experience as well. We will definitely return as this place is officially our favorite Italian restaurant!

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to. We started off with the charbroiled hanger steak which had a wonderful crunch and cooked to perfection. I had the Penne Da Edoardo and my wife had the Veal Marsala. Everything was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a nice night out.
