My husband and I recently moved from Chicago so finding Max’s was a pleasant surprise. Food is great, I got a hotdog and my husband got the beef, both were just as good as what you would get in Chicago. We will be returning!

You will not be disappointed. The beef here is just like they serve in Chicago (born and raised) comes with hot or mild giardanera, dipped or on the side, overall incredible beef. It’s a filling meal and I cannot wait to be back.

Driven by here many times but never stopped in, and we finally went in today. The owner (i think?) was so sweet! We ordered 2 Italian beefs (1 hot, 1 mild), a chicago dog, and Cajun shrimp soup. Never had an Italian beef before, but this did not disappoint! The giardiniera was super flavorful, and the sandwich didn't skimp on the beef. I've had many chicago dogs, in Chicago, and this one held up with the competition there. The andouille sausage in the soup was AMAZING. We will 100% be going back here!
My wife's review: ARE YOU KIDDING ME. In a town with very few...flavorful...options, Max's is a goldmine!!! I had the Cajun shrimp soup and not only was it delicious, but everything tasted fresh, warm, and like it came straight from someone's kitchen. The owner (who's name I'm sorry to have missed!) was so kind and warm. To think we've been living here over a year and had never encountered this place!

Driving on Mack. See little authentic Italian beef shop. Wow that sounds good! U turn on Mack... Park in front. Order one of the best Italian beef sandwiches that I've ever had...and yes, I've had them in Chicago. Onion rings huge with delicious dipping sauce. Excellent customer service and a fair price. I'm sold! This place is on my radar! Next time, Chicago style hot dog. I highly recommend you check out this place!

First time here got the Chicago dog (of course) and the beef egg roll. Very good! Lots of good stuff on the menu. And 6 Chicago dogs for $26 seems like an insane deal. Keep in mind that you might wait a little bit for your food, they're a small operation. Totally worth the wait, though.

Just popped in after looking them up real quick while in the area for work. The lady was very polite and friendly, the shop was clean and very well kept. The food was great, a very generous sandwich which hit the spot and the fries were great too, can't go wrong with fresh crinkle cut fries! Potentially a little on the pricier side for some, but I felt it was still worth it!
