Great meeting place to drink

This is basically a closed and private bar for the owner and some people that live in the neighborhood. Anyone new is basically not welcome. You can feel it when you walk in. It’s too bad because it use to be a nice little dive bar. Not now. I would pass on this place there’s a lot nicer and friendlier bars up and down the street.

Just spent an evening at The Rustic Cabin Bar in Grosse Pointe Park, and it’s a place you must visit if you haven’t already. There’s something uniquely calming about this neighborhood gem. The highlight of my visit was watching people play pool. It’s not just a game here; it’s an art. The players, with their focused expressions, calculating each shot, made it almost meditative to watch. Every clink of the balls was like a note in a peaceful melody. Best neighborhood dive in North America. Pool, foosball, golden tee, pinball. Super friendly staff and customers

This is the oldest bar in Grosse Point area. It's a nice little local place to catch the game. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. Stopped in for a quick drink and wanted to just stay there all day.

Had a great time with the bloody Mary bar on a Sunday for a friend's birthday

Was in the area for a service and a large group of us headed over here after. Played a few games of pool and enjoyed a few mix drinks, bottled beer and draft. All were really good. Service was quick. atmosphere was nice. Seemed more like a local fun hangout then a ritzy place. And I mean that in a great way. We all felt welcome even with a larger group.

Love this place, been going there 50 years. I hope it doesn't change, there's not many bars left like this. I know they will want to change too keep up with the jones's but it will be ashamed.
