I came here with a budget and this hotel was it. I will definitely be coming back here. It’s perfect for relaxing. Nothing really as far as scenery. Not very many stores around. BP is close and so is a dispensary. Would highly recommend 1000/10!! ⭐️everything worked even had a heated bathroom!!!

Place is perfect for a stay and going up to Seney and Kayaking. The room was super clean, only took one star off because it’s old and had a smell but that’s normal for UP. Service was amazing, and the room was safe and spacious, had plenty of towels, and they asked if we needed anything. Thanks!

Rooms: Rooms are great other than some do not have microwaves or mini fridges. Some do. easy in and out with traffic on busy highway 2. Great place to stay with friendly service and comfortable rooms.
Nearby activities: You can hit almost everywhere in the U P from this one spot, highly recommend pictured rocks, presque isle and Lakenland scrap metal art was a hidden wonder we found while out and about!

Classic highway motel convenient for a road trip through the U.P. New beds are very comfortable and the flooring is new as well. Even though it's an older place it was clean, the wifi was fast, and the shower was great. Being able to have our dogs there and a small open area in back for them was awesome.

This is was much better than I expected. Rooms were nice and bed was super comfortable. I normally wake up a couple times a night, but I slept the whole night through. The breakfast is excellent! Huge portions, friendly service and an amazing cook. I think I found a gem!!Rooms: Room was in good condition and great water pressure in the shower! Bed was so comfortable.Safety: 2 types of locks on the door made me feel really safeFood & drinks: Huge portions, almost too big for me and I'm not a small woman. Excellent tasting. They must have a great cook!

We reserved our room on their website around 5pm and arrived at around 6pm. Couldn’t get ahold of anyone until about 7:15 for a code. The person who finally called us back with the code seemed irritated at us. They gave us a code to someone else’s room. When we finally got in a room, it was dirty. Hairs all over the sheets and blankets - obviously weren’t washed from last guests. Bathtub dirty. Had to wipe the tv remote down to use it because it was dirty. Sink was dirty. Floors dirty. No wifi password. No vending machine or ice machine. Lights outside the room were on all night, no way to turn them off. No blackout curtains so the room was bright all night. The only pluses were, they had turner classic movies, and the bed was moderately comfortable. Not my idea of ‘dreamland’.

This place is absolutely fantastic. This is a clean, cozy old school motor inn type room. Nothing fancy but clean and perfect. If you want fancy and tons of action right there this is NOT the place for you. We had read reviews about thiness of walls so we took a box fan and we were fine. The service (all done through text messages) was prompt, courteous and helpful. The code for the electronic door room lock worked like a charm. We did not get there first night due to car issues. They were quite accommodating and helpful. I also screwed up my length of stay and once again nothing but help and amazing service. The restaurant on-site is just the best! We also utilized the picnic table that is out front for dinner a couple nights. I would stay here again. My only complaint is Gulliver is pretty remote. But other than that this place was a gem!!!!!Noteworthy details: On-site restaurant is fantastic!
