As of Fall 2025, this place is doing business as Fred’s Detroit style pizza. Open Friday and Saturday, the pizza is delicious, and a welcome addition to the area.

We visit this place a lot. And we will continue to do so. From what I gather (pun intended) they had a long summer. They were short staffed, but who isn’t. They did the best they could. And hopefully the patrons showed them how much they appreciated it. Me included….
We have been back since they have reopened and it’s a nice breath of fresh air. I was excited to try some of the new menu items, sip on the delicious cocktails, and really just an enjoy a nice fall evening. And Gather delivered. Our server was a delight and very chatty. Which we love. Even when another table tried to rattle him, he took it with stride. The food was spectacular. My wife had the butter chicken, and I the Korean chicken sandwich. Both very very good. We also tried the crispy brussel sprouts (we usually order the focaccia) and the tuna tartar. Equally scrumptious. We sipped on a modern old fashioned and a cold martini, both drinks just adding to the lovely ambiance at Gather.
Like I said we love to come here, we will back. Nice job Gather!

Bartender and drinks were great. The wedge was good but the kitchen would not split.
My Korean chicken sandwich was good, pasta bolognese was ok not hot & the kitchen would not split, salmon was small 4oz. w sweet potato underneath so the plate looked empty.
There was a drag on getting 3 entrees to the table of 4, 1st chicken & pasta, then 5 more minutes before the salmon, mind you there were 2 other tables in the restaurant. Aren’t we all supposed to eat together? Unacceptable!

Superb food! My picky boys claim that these are the absolute best burgers ever! The arugula salad with grilled chicken was light and zesty and delicious. We also orders the crispy Brussels sprouts and focaccia bread and both were amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Service needs a major boost. The concept doesn't work with sour miserable employees. They need a new GM or something to fix this Trainwreck. Food good. Atmosphere ok...a bit awkward...they need to focus on foh staffing quickly.

Our food cane out at different times, the wait staff was a but flaky but the food was
incredible and that makes up for the service. No reservations allowed and the dining space is pretty small.

Have been to Gather several times. We liked it at first but the quality has went down while the prices have went up. They used to have Wagyu for $32 and they have swapped it out with New York strip for $40. Also, if I’m paying $21 for an old fashion it should be a 2 ounce pour and a well balanced drink which is not what I have received the last couple trips. Sadly we will not be returning but If you go, enjoy your tiny sips of expensive, syrupy cocktails.

After a coworker recommended Gather I was super excited to go and decided to try it out for my birthday dinner. We drove 25 minutes after checking to see if we could make a reservation- but the website said no reservations. No worries. We show up and the place is closed- on a Tuesday at 6PM. There’s no note on the door, no notice on the website, nothing on google I can find. I wasted 45 minutes of my birthday and then had to scramble to find new dinner plans night of. An absolutely unacceptable way to run a business.

TLDR they do not take severe dietary restrictions seriously and you may get sick eating here, as I did. Nuts and items are not listed in certain dishes and food is mediocre.

I have celiac disease and dined here with my family. As always when dining out, I’m explicitly clear about my dietary restrictions and am often met with restaurant staff knowledgable about a few items I can safely eat. Our server knew the basics of each dish but nothing beyond - he had to keep going back and forth to the kitchen when we asked pretty straightforward questions. Once I finally found something I could have (items marked gluten free on menu use a shared fryer so not celiac safe, and there are nuts in items that aren’t listed) he neglected to mention that the fried brussel sprouts in the dish (which I had previously explicitly asked about) were in a pre-made mix, so, when I asked that the bowl be made without the brussel sprouts, I later found out that all that meant was the kitchen would one by one pick out the brussel sprouts from the pre-made mix, therefore still contaminating the whole dish.

The dish still came with a few brussel sprouts that the kitchen clearly forgot to take out (???) that I only found after I had eaten the majority of the meal. This is totally unacceptable and made me severely ill. Beyond this ridiculous blunder, the drinks were good but the food was mediocre and service was slow. I had to proactively seek out the manager at the end of the meal and while she was apologetic, I shouldn’t not have had to approach her given what a massive mistake her staff made. Truly do not waste your time here.

Wish I could give this 0 stars. I ordered the harvest grain bowl: every bite tastes like pure charred rice, ordered it with avocado, they didn’t put any on there. Also ordered the smash burger: the patty had such little flavor it was actually impressive.

This place brings a little bougie to Sawyer. I like the modern interior. Two challenges are no reservations, and low seating near the bar. We came with my daughter in a wheelchair and since no regular tables were avail, we had to be at low ones. The food & menu itself was great. Lots to offer. That’s really the only negative for me.

We found this place on a getaway weekend! We did some research and looked at the reviews and we were so glad we visited. The drinks and food were absolutely incredible! we ordered the brussels sprouts, fries, focaccia, bread, fried chicken sandwich, harvest, Green bowl with chicken, traditional margarita, and Coors banquet beer. We raved at how delicious everything was. We sat out in the back and it was super nice and relaxing.

Something new for us is that you actually order online and pay by scanning. They are quick and efficient when bringing out food and drinks. It was a cool experience.
