Longtime local favorite Luisa's combines an absolutely delectable bakery with a tasty breakfast/brunch spot. Both offer everything you'd expect PLUS local Swedish specialties. The bakery has an enormous variety of choices, from sweet to savory - just keep adding to your pile, it'll all get eaten 😋.
Luisa's Swedish Bakery & Market is a bustling little bakery with decent food, albeit on the pricey side. Our visit was a bit chaotic, especially when trying to dine in the café. To eat, you’re required to place your order ahead of time in the bakery, and then it’s brought to your table. The process felt disorganized and unclear, and with the place packed to the brim, there wasn’t much rhyme or reason to how the crowd and traffic flowed.
While the food itself was fine, the baked goods were undoubtedly the highlight of the experience—absolutely worth the trip. Next time, I’d likely skip the café and stick to picking up some of their stellar baked treats to go.
Really good bakery with a variety of selection. Caramel apple pie is really delicious and matcha latte isn’t too sweet, unlike some other places.
We had a great experience and will be back. Endless bakery options and I love a bakery and a restaurant combined for us protein lovers.
Delicious freshly baked sweet and savory goodies!
Priced for the tourist without the budget!
kate saved the bachelorette trip with a million incoming coffee orders. we appreciate you !!! thank you for being so helpful and efficient!
Came here on a whim on our way home from vacation and was very impressed! The staff was so friendly and welcoming , and the latte I ordered was made perfectly! We will stop in on our next visit!
Excellent food. Baked Oatmeal is very tasty and unique.
I had the Luisa Breakfast with coffee, it was absolutely delicious. The ingredients used at this establishment are of the freshest quality. The staff is friendly and engaging creating fantastic service. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this establishment.

This place has the best coffee ever!!! I’m not a coffee drinker but I guess I’ll be joining the club now. It was the best I’ve ever had. I went with 2 more friends from Chicago and they also both said this coffee tastes so different and smooth. Vivian was really pleasant and made us fill like home. While we were waiting for our order she gave us some cinnamon that was so fresh made and delicious.
THANK YOU!!!

The quiche was amazing, the coffee cake divine, and the coffee wonderful (even without cream or sugar). There was a lovely man playing music during breakfast, and every worker seemed happy to be there. Best breakfast!

FYI - not updated here, but clear on their website (which I did not check) closed until Jan 23. (Sad trombone)
There's that moment of "Great doesn't look too busy" which flips quickly to "because they're closed." Guess we haven't done a weekend trip this early in January before. They are not alone in the "break" window.
This is a nice bakery for sweet treats. I tried a few of their items, and the croissant was flaky and buttery in the best possible way. The other items were also delicious, especially the cardamom bread; it goes well with coffee. I’d definitely recommend this bakery for anyone with a sweet tooth.
