Having a nice local place to go to as a couple, with friends or just by myself is great. The awesome staff and owners make patrons feel welcome, safe and cared for. Their food is good and they have good specials. It’s evident that employees enjoy working there and the owners treat patrons and employees with warm respect. They have karaoke and have employees that can really sing! Also, it’s fun when the weather warms up. They come up a lot of cool, fun ideas for the community and patrons to participate in. So glad that Ed and Camila decided to own the Boondocks. They have transformed it into a wonderful place in their own neighborhood and we actually have a place to say that we are proud of!
Ordered Takeout from here while on my honeymoon. It was a tad expensive, but the food was definitely good. My wife got a Honey Chicken dish that she said was really good. Their pizza is nice, good old, bar style pizza, in my opinion.

Excellent first experience. Great service and clean / well staffed pub. Condiments were actually refrigerated (small details count for bonus points)! Pizza was thin, crispy and with an awesome buttery crust! Boondocks is well worth the 15-20 min extra drive up the lake shore coast from Pt Sanilac.

Went here on a whim looking for a new place to eat while staying with family in Harbor Beach. Laid back and bustling atmosphere with friendly wait staff and a good variety of “pub food.” Owner came to our table and asked how everything was going even though we weren’t locals. Will definitely dine here again!
