Having a nice local place to go to as a couple, with friends or just by myself is great. The awesome staff and owners make patrons feel welcome, safe and cared for. Their food is good and they have good specials. It’s evident that employees enjoy working there and the owners treat patrons and employees with warm respect. They have karaoke and have employees that can really sing! Also, it’s fun when the weather warms up. They come up a lot of cool, fun ideas for the community...
Ordered Takeout from here while on my honeymoon. It was a tad expensive, but the food was definitely good. My wife got a Honey Chicken dish that she said was really good. Their pizza is nice, good old, bar style pizza, in my opinion.
Excellent first experience. Great service and clean / well staffed pub. Condiments were actually refrigerated (small details count for bonus points)! Pizza was thin, crispy and with an awesome buttery crust! Boondocks is well worth the 15-20 min extra drive up the lake shore coast from Pt Sanilac.
