Smiley's Bar in Harbor Beach has a cook on Sundays and he made the best Ruben I've had in forever. The waitress was very accommodating and friendly. The bartender mixes a fine drink. Great place to shoot pool and watch the Detroit Lions game. We will definitely be back.
First couple of times I was here, I would have given it 4 stars. After the last few times, I'm not as impressed as I first was. The "blackened" chicken salad wasn't what anyone would consider blackened. It was mildly seasoned with spices my grandma would think needed more heat. The last couple of visits had subpar service as well.
Loved the food, the beer, and the staff! I had the bar burger and it was amazing. Was really looking forward to having it again but we couldn’t make it to the bar before 9pm when your kitchen closed.
