My family & I very much love & appreciate the small locally owned & operated ‘Birch Tree Bakery & Café’ located right on Main St. in downtown Harbor Springs, MI. Their handmade bakery goods and other goodies are made fresh daily, sometimes hourly, are always delicious and you can tell they take great pride in only offering the very best they can.

Birch Tree Bakery recently made desserts for our wedding reception. We had brownies, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting, and lemon bars. Our guests raved about all of them, especially the lemon bars!

The owner and the staff have excellent cheerful dispositions. We always feel welcome and remembered. The coffee is consistently good and they have several gluten-free items. My companions often had the scones and muffins and quite enjoyed them. I absolutely love the outdoor bistro tables and the service window.
