The Crow's Nest catered my Harbor Springs wedding and they did such an amazing job! Planning the menu was really easy, and they made the tasting super fun. At the event, the food and drinks were wonderful and they were really diligent with allergies.
Shana was also extremely helpful while planning the event and day-of coordination. She coordinated all of the rentals and was able to be on-site for the tent delivery/set-up. When I was having trouble finding a vendor for hair and makeup, Shana knew exactly who I should contact. She ran our rehearsal and also did all of the day of coordination. Everything went super smoothly during the wedding and reception thanks to Shana!
I would highly recommend the Crow's Nest for catering and Shana as an event planner to anyone planning a wedding in Northern Michigan!

We had the pleasure of working with the Crow's Nest for our daughter's wedding, which was held at Castle Farms in Charlevoix. Shana, from Crow's Nest was great to work with as well as was the staff at the wedding. And the food, well that's the main reason you hire a caterer...right? It was fabulous! No regrets at all! Make sure you go with the hummers for an after-dinner dessert drink. You won't be disappointed, and neither will your guests. Kudos to The Crow's Nest and all of their staff...great food, great fun, great memories! Thank You!
Highly recommended… perch on the porch was awesome… waitress was excellent….will be back

Crow’s nest is the best! We worked with Shana and she was a boss. Shana was so accommodating for our every need. We hired Crow’s Nest for catering, and day of wedding coordination. The food was delicious! And even though we only hired them as a day of coordinator, Shana still did SO much for us leading up to the wedding. We met with her several times and she was so helpful. When we made changes to our wedding plans throughout the planning process and even up to a couple of days before the wedding, Shana accepted those changes with no questions asked. Crow’s nest also helped us get all of the decor for our wedding which was quite a task but so much easier with their help. A final thing I want to mention is that Shana was always willing to give you her professional opinion on wedding related things if you ask for her input. She will give you a cut and dry response to your questions which is so so helpful through the planning process. If you’re in Northern Michigan, hire Crow’s Nest! You will be lucky if you get to work with Shana. She is a great person.

Went for my birthday, very busy. But seated us happily at the bar, where we received flawless service from the bar tender. All the people at the bar were so friendly. Had the morel crustini appetizer, amazing! All the food was delicious! Can't wait to go back an try the "perch on the porch" buffet! Truly enjoyed conversing with Marsha ?

Best perch I've ever had in my life with a homemade tartar sauce that borders on perfection. Atmosphere is cozy and inviting; fine dining without being stuffy or pretentious. Cannot wait to go back!

Crow’s Nest recently did the catering for my wedding, and Shana did the coordinating. They were incredible from the very start.
They answered emails promptly, phone calls were awesome, and they were super easy to contact for the year we were planning.
Our tasting was awesome, the restaurant was so nice and the atmosphere was great. The food was immaculate, we raved to everyone about it before the wedding. I don’t usually love all fried fish but their perch especially is just so good.
The food and service on the wedding day was phenomenal. Everyone talked about how great everything tasted and how kind the staff was. They handled dietary restrictions so well. Their hummers are my favorite!
The day would not have gone smoothly without Shana. She did rentals for me, planned a timeline, had a bunch of items to use, etc. She was always so wonderful to talk to. She decorated, walked us through rehearsal, walked through everything the day of, kept the day running smoothly, cleaned up, did literally everything we needed. The day would not have gone so well without her, she was integral for the success of the wedding.
All in all, I cannot say enough kind and positive things about Crow’s Nest and everything they do. I highly, highly recommend them for anything you may need!

Will not return! Had a 6 o'clock reservation, only 2 other people in the whole restaurant at that time. We were seated, drinks given. Then, nothing, our order was not taken until we had been there for 50 minutes. No communication from staff as to if something went wrong in the kitchen or anything. Restaurant then full. The worst part of this is ALL the tables that came AFTER us were served before us. We were at this restaurant for an early Father's Day celebration. We were served after being there for an hour and a half! It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to leave this place. We are locals, live 5 minutes down the road, and this was just terrible. Will not recommend to others, which is sad because we like to eat and support local businesses.

Definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ dining. We selected the buffet - “Perch on the Porch.”
Which was so much more than perch. Our meal exceeded our expectations.
The buffet included cream of mushroom soup, salad with home made balsamic or ranch dressing, steamed zucchini and squash, short grained white rice with carrots. The 3 entrees were pan fried Chicken topped with creamy morel sauce, walleye Grenoble- white wine butter Lemon caper, pan fried perch.
Finished with tres leche, eclairs, coconut chocolate chip bites.
The entire buffet was superb - from start to finish. If I had to pick my favorite it would be difficult because it was all so flavorful and savvy.
Stop in and enjoy a delicious dinner. Plenty of parking. Reservations would be required. We will definitely be returning.
Parking: Easy access, plenty of parking.

My family has been coming here for over 35 years. The food is fabulous and the service is even better! The mushroom soup is the best I've ever had and the bluegill was amazing.
Kid-friendliness: They catered very well to my picky 7 year old nephew! They also had little kiddy fun kits for entertainment.
