Very cool art inside. Best lavender lemonade I have ever had!

We thought this was a nice little spot to stop on our way through the tunnel of trees, as pretty as it was this lady was very rude to our group and acted like we were a bunch of thugs.

Beautiful shop with a nice selection of items for sale. The jewelry here is very nice and well priced in my opinion. The tea room in the back is also a must stop. Their lavender lemonade is absolutely delicious and wonderfully refreshing on a summer day. They also have a very nice selection of baked goods perfect for a snack while taking in the beauty of the Tunnel of Trees.

The most adorable and peaceful place. Such kind workers. Stopped in for lemonade and hope to go back :)

I went here like 5 years back with my family, and we enjoyed our time there. Not much else to say, is there.

This store did not allow someone with medical conditions to enter unless they had a mask on. The other person had one on. They lied and said it was the law, when it was not. The woman was very rude and said clearly they don’t accommodate for medical conditions. We will not return again and recommend to save the trip.

Felt so good to step into my favorite "up north" store yesterday to do my annual shopping for gifts and cabin furnishings. I almost didn't stop because of all the cars and people out front, but glad I did. The staff made sure only a few people entered at a time, and they were very serious about masks and hand sanitizer. I leisurely shopped for the sweetest and unique gifts for grand baby and friends. And as usual, I grabbed a hot coffee and fresh scone. For rich, artistic, well-made and lovely gifts and quality furnishings, I highly recommend Primitive Images. And, thank you for being open - with all precautions - during the pandemic!

I look forward to coming to Primitive Images gift store and tea shop every year on our summer vacations in N. Michigan. I always find something unique... whether it be jewelry or a cool top...or something for our little cabin. I was sooooo happy to see they were open this summer (so many shops have closed due to covid.) They do ask that you wear masks and I totally support that. The staff is very friendly and professional....helpful when you need them but not overbearing. When we are done shopping we always like a tea and to sit our on the back patio area...it is calming and scenic!

Nice store. Nice things. Spent our money here. Maybe we shouldn’t have. Lady running the place wasn’t the least bit friendly.
