Best food in harbor springs. It is $$$ but is also 5 star. Private club, but really excellent cocktails and food. I've been lucky to be invited a couple of times and have my fingers crossed I will be invited again!

This place is unbelievable. Everything seemed ok for awhile until the waitress interrupted the elder at the table to describe specials. My opinion is that a waitress should never do that, AT ALL! But especially to a 91 year old in a “club” setting. We all kept quiet about it but everyone noticed. That 91 year old was with a younger crowd but our youngest age was 61. 10 min after receiving the menu our waitress started pushing us for an order!!! Not just once, but several times. She would not take the hint to back off. I decided to go ask the woman seemingly in control, to ask that the waitress back off and give us some time. Normally that would not be a deal breaker, but here, we were suddenly being served by another woman that had apparently zero care about us. Later i was told the waitress that was so bold and obnoxious to us was in tears because I had asked that she give us some time to choose our meals. Meanwhile every time ANY waitress passed by our table they literally SHOVED my chair. I was being brutally shoved every time ANY waitress passed by. YICKS!!!!! My chair was MOVING with the shoves 4- 6”!!! THIS IS A PRIVATE CLUB! We have only been off season members here... and frankly ONLY because the bar is so cute and the bartender is so sincere. We have had a few disappointing meals here but NOTHING LIKE THIS. In fact, all of us including the 91 year old have NEVER been treated with this level of disrespect- and holy cow, in a “CLUB” ????? You MUST be joking. My chair being SHOVED again and again??? alrighty then... this place has no place here.

Used to be open to non-members off-season. Now completely closed to non-members; as a local, this is off-putting. Many other appealing alternatives. But when it was accessible, the food was exceptional and of excellent value.

I haven't dined here often for dinner but the last couple of times have been very good. A couple of weeks ago I had the fajitas, which were surprisingly great, and last night I had the St. Louis style ribs (which are smoked in house) and they were cooked perfectly . The atmosphere is quite nostalgic and adds to the ambience. I will definitely be going back for both breakfast and dinner.
