Very nice place. Food was decent but a tad overpriced. I had the whitefish. Although it was good and prepared perfectly, it didn't have the WOW factor. As in, I could definitely make it at home. I would very much like to try another dish. Good wine and bread. Staff very pleasant.
Out in the country, pleasant atmosphere, medium noise level. The good and the bad: Were out of the 2 fish entrees I wanted. The pasta dish I ordered was mediocre. Cocktail very good. Miles the waiter very good.
Lovely place, just a little north of Harbor Springs proper. I prefer The Fish tacos and crab cakes (because, hey, it's not The Cow). However, there's a little something not on the menu that chef and owner John whips up. It's squash blossoms filled with cheesy risotto, dipped in a light tempura batter, deep fried, topped with a ginger soy teriaki type drizzle. John's delightful daughter, Lorna runs the bar and will pair your squash blossoms a nice white wine...
