The food is the best in Harbor Springs. Fresh and not too heavy. My husband got the pork fried rice and said it was the best he has ever had!

Dietary restrictions: We do not have dietary restrictions but the waitress asked and was very accommodating.

My wife and I were here 3 years ago and I remembered the food fondly. We just went in at 8 o’clock to try it again. They close at 9, and we already said to ourselves if they want us to leave at 9 and we aren’t done we can get to-go boxes and leave. We sat there with nobody coming to even say a word to us for roughly 7 minutes. We could see them glancing at us from the kitchen, I overheard someone say “did they leave?” Then eventually a woman came to us and said “hi, sorry we are closed” we said “I thought you closed at 9?” She said “the kitchen closes at 8:30”, need I remind you “we showed up at 8:00”. We saw the bad reviews almost all due to bad service and they were deserved. I will stop recommending this place to people.

Great food and service, love the burgers. It's a bit loud in the restaurant, hard to hold a conversation.

Stopped here for a late lunch around 2pm and was fortunate to get a seat on the small outdoor area and only waited about 5 minutes for the table. That being said, I'm not sure I'd recommend this restaurant overall. A table was sat right before us and next to us, and despite having the same waitress, they received fast and friendly service, while we waited another 10-15 minutes for her bring us water which was put down before she promptly walked away without a word. After taking our orders, (a burger and fries, and a cilantro steak bowl, minus the cilantro), it was nearly 30 minutes before we received the food without the waiter stopping by to check on us. The table next to us who was seated around the same time had received their food and was nearly done eating similar meals to our order, before our food arrived. We were contemplating leaving to go somewhere else when the food finally came out.

Either they were short-staffed (or poorly organized to seat two tables in the same section if the waitress couldn't handle the load) or we even wondered if the waitstaff knew the other table which would explain why they received better, more prompt service.

The food was OK with good portions, though honestly my boyfriend's fries were probably the one thing I actually really enjoyed since my bowl was lukewarm and turned cold pretty quickly.

Good location in the cute downtown area though.

Food wasn't worth the price. 4 dollars extra for fries that were mediocre is sad. Chicken and noodles were over cooked , the burger was good but not worth $19 dollars. The server was nice which made the experience a little better.

We waited over a half hour for a table. Hostess sat multiple parties before us with tables that could accommodate us. One of the burgers was cooked rare instead of well. We requested to have it removed off the bill since we were on bikes and our child needed a nap. Waitress was talking about how rude we were behind the bar for requesting a refund. I let her know that she lost our business because of her attitude and her response was I would not want to serve you anyways. This is the worst service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. We will not be back.

Food was fine, service was not. Our server, Jameson, was terrific but definitely overworked. It seemed she was doing the work of three people. One entree was not cooked properly and we had to wait about 15 minutes for her to come to the table because she was busy behind the bar. Extremely noisy in a small space.

The restaurant was busy, and too rainy to sit outside so we appreciated our bar seats. However it took close to 15 min to be greeted by our server (greeted, not asked for drink order). Prices are on par with this area of northern Michigan, and a little less even than some restaurants on the block. Burgers are fine, beet salad at $21, was overpriced for size, and quality/freshness of ingredients. Not all vegetarian options are available at dinner, better for lunch.
