Went there for some appetizers after a movie. Great experience! French Onion soup, Deviled eggs and onions rings were all worth the price.

Update in response to the owners fabricated reply- you may be looking at the wrong people on your camera footage- we walked in without being greeted, by the time we were- we were already at the bar and asked if we could sit there as it is our preferred place to sit and understood the small capacity of the restaurant. Without anyone else sitting at the bar and only two/3 tables full in the restaurant we were told to sit in two chairs at the end of the bar that were encroaching into another tables space. At that point I did take my coat off and tried to squeeze into the seats without disturbing the table behind me- when I realized that couldn’t happen, I asked the bartender a second time if we could sit in the other seats that are open at the bar, she again refused to accommodate us and rudely told us she couldn’t help us.As we walked out, the other waiter/hostess apologized to us for the experience.

Been to Paper Station a couple of times and this time has been the best. Mostly because Haley's service. She was absolutely amazing. She checked on us and was attentive!! Sweet person. Had the bolognese and we finished with the lava cake! On weekend make a reservation and make sure you confirm it!

I’m gluten-free, so my rating is partially based on the lack of gluten-free options. I also thought it was overpriced. I was able to substitute rice for pasta in my chicken piccata, which was a special, and good, but not my thing. Only 2 other regular entrees seemed to be gluten-free, steak and pork fried rice. To add 1/2 a salad to the $41 steak was $10. The burgers were $18 and gf buns were not listed as being an option. This may be in-line with the area, I’m just visiting. I didn’t find it to be worth the cost. The Brussel sprouts and squash were very good, so was the salmon bowl. The orange chicken was good, but nothing outstanding. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cozy and fun. I’d recommend reservations on a weekend.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free menu options are limited, however, they were willing to do a substitution.

Always a great spot to grab yummy food and great drinks. ABC chicken and the onion rings are to die for. Friendly fast staff and a cute location for any occasion.

What a disappointment….I love this place and I had a table of 8 tonight and talked up the place to no end to my table mates. The hostess was cold and rude. Our waiter went to the same school, short, cold and rude. Let’s put it this way, we were not welcome there. While we sat there a family of 4 came in and asked if the owner was there and the hostess snapped back that she was not and even if she was it wouldn’t help them get a table. He told her she was being rude and he was only looking to see if he could get a table (he was very polite) she was soooo rude to him.I asked the hostess if they could change the channel on the tv and she commented she had no idea where the remote was and said I guess i can try to find it. Minutes later, she laid the remote next to me and departed without saying a word and I managed to find the guide and get the game on.Most of our food was cold to Luke warm. We tipped the waitress accordingly, equal to that of her behavior. No lie, after we left the restaurant and in our car she came running out of the restaurant holding up the black bill booklet waving it at us (not sure what her intent was), I didn’t stop, the damage was done.I’m not making this up (you couldn’t make all this up on your best day)….very disappointing and a common occurrence based on the reviews I’ve read.

I had a very poor experience tonight with our group. The waitress was very short and rude. We waited a very long time for our food. Burger was cold to touch and the truffle fries were cold and congealed into a solid mass. The waitress was dismissive and snippy with us. I am generally an extremely generous tipper, but that shouldn't be an expectation. I tipped commensurate with my experience. Won't make the mistake of going there again.

Good food but horrible service. We love supporting Harbor Springs businesses, but don't expect this restaurant to hold your reservation! They did not honor our same day reservation —we were left in a challenging situation with a rude hostess snd two hungry young boys.

The bolognese is absolutely PHENOMENAL. I get it every time I'm in town. I highly recommend this dish.

This was one of the best bowls of French onion soup I have ever had! The onion rings were exquisite as well; it's like they fried up half an onion in each one. By far the most satisfying meal of our honeymoon :-)

The food was quite good, however we left with a bitter taste in our mouths. Having never been to Harbor Springs we looked on yelp for a recommendation. This place had good recommendations, and we called ahead to see if reservations were required and they said they had open tables. When we arrived the hostess was unfriendly and barely greeted us. She seemed annoyed that we wanted a table and begrudgingly seated us at one of the 3 remaining tables. We waited a long time for a server and when she arrived, she barely said hello. No smile, no suggestions, and very hurried. The food was thrown down when it arrived. It tasted good, but I do not recommend this place if you want an ambiance of feeling welcomed.
