We were there on Saturday, November 15th and went for dinner at horizons that evening. But on ordering a prime rib in medium rare I was brought a piece of steak that was overgrilled medium. Well done and not good. I asked the waitress to take it back as it was not really acceptable and to give me. She said she would get me a medium rare prime rib. She came back with the same one and says the chef says that's the best he can do to make a medium rare prime rib. They offered to make another steak for me which was okay but everybody in our group six of us were eating and we had places to be for show. So I kept the steak and I'm very disappointed and probably will never ever eat prime rib there again. That was that was the worst prime rib I've eaten in my life.

We went here last feb and it was amazing and the bread before you order was good and free. Today, we ate there again and you had to order the bread for a charge. 6.50 per loaf. I got the mushroom risotto side and it was awful. Salty as hell. My brother got the prime rib and it looked rotten. He did ask for a different meat. My sister got the wedge salad and it was bland as hell. Seriously, when you charge these kinds if prices, the food better be perfect. We will come to the resort casino again but will rat at the Cafe instead. Never again. Don't waste your money.

Called and left 2 voicemails as no one answered the phone as voicemail stated. Got there with a large group and no reservations. Brenda had zero apologies but to say we were already booked all night. Sure would be be nice to get a call back. We have been here with large groups many times but this will probably be our last.

We had such a wonderful meal. The prices were pretty high, but worth it. My husband had the 20 oz Prime Kansas City Strip, he said it was the best steak he’s ever eaten. We had small children with us and our waitress was very patient.The service was absolutely great. We live about 2 hours away but will be eating here again, when we’re up this way!

26th Anniversary. Had the worst waiter Gabriel.Asked for dessert menu before or meal came , never bothered. All the other tables had fresh bread, not us. After he delivered our steaks he dissapeared for 20 minutes. We had to listen to the Bartender talked so loud that we learned the intimate details of her life ( getting drunk, something about drug addicts- she was beyond unprofessional) Will never recommend. Tried to find a manager- no one over 25 running the place. Spent almost $200 for a terrible experience. Save your money and go into town or ear at The Reef.

10/21/25 - dinner at the Horizons Steakhouse was phenomenal as usual. Michelle was a top-notch server with a great sense of humor and professionalism. We enjoyed the ambiance, great wine and especially the food. Sharing an entree and several hors ‘douevers with my husband was the perfect meal to end the day. That’s why we keep coming back.
