I’ve eaten Mexican food all over the country. And this by far was one of the best places I’ve ever ate at I love it. I drive 45 minutes to get there.

The food and service was amazing. We went with the waitress Joanna’s recommendation. It is one of the best Mexican restaurants I went to and it’s very down home feeling.

Had wonderful service and food was very good!
The food was really good. Even though there was one girl waiting on everybody. She was on top of everything.

Chicken chimichanga is amazing and so is the asada Carne con queso. The con queso and the blacked or Cajun steak is the bomb. Love it

I've been to Mexican restaurants that have put family members in the ER, This place is a step up ever so slightly. Service was good, no issues there. The food, on the other hand, was horrible. Tamales covered in a thick unpalatable chili, that could not cover the dryness of the tamales. The enchiladas lacked any moisture also, unseasoned ground beef wrapped in a tortilla covered in cheese. The tostada may have been better if not bean. Which are the thickest refried beans I"ve ever eaten. The chicken taco was the only redeeming item on the combo. The chicken had flavor and was moist. All in all do not recommend.

I wasn't expecting authentic Mexican food being this place has been around long before authentic started to arrive in Michigan but this is way off the mark. They use Mozzarella on some of their dishes like enchiladas (says right on the menu). There was no hot sauce tables but sugar caddies were apparently necessary on every table? I ordered tamales, which were suuuper dry. I don't even know if there was meat in them, the menu didn't say and I couldn't tell if they were just stuffed with dry masa. The restaurant is so old and dingy, atmosphere is trashy...nothing gives a latin ambiance like Katy Perry & 50 cent playing overhead lol. There's 90s artwork on the walls, some fake vine strung along the ceiling surely collecting dust, a TOWEL ROLL in the bathroom. 2 stars as service by host and server was good. If looking for a cheap dive bar kinda place to hang out and pound ritas and light beers hey this probably works but if you want decent Mexican fare in a clean, nice atmosphere, move along.

I want so badly to give this a full 5 star rating. I've been here many times and have never had an issue until yesterday (June 22nd). I came in with my boyfriend and his dad per usual. Took a minute to get our drink order in which was fine. We weren't in a rush or anything. We just like to chill. Fast forward to the food order. The waitress came up and honestly didn't give an actual proper greeting but I dismissed it because I don't personally care about that. What I cared about was the accuracy of my order. My boyfriend's order was fine. His dad's order was fine. They got exactly what they wanted. Me however, I asked for the tinga chimichanga. I was brought enchiladas. And when I stated that it was not what I ordered the waitress flat out said "are you sure? I have enchilads written down. That's what you said" No...it's not at all what I said. I never get anything other than a chimichanga. As a former waitress, I know how stressful things can get, but I would never get even slightly argumentative and question what a customer said regarding their order. And I always read the order back to make sure I got everything right. Which she did not. And for her to say "son of a B" when she realized she messed up..also unprofessional. So I had to wait extra time while everyone else was eating their food. By the time my food came, I was already getting full from the appetizer sitting in my stomach for so long. Only got maybe 2 bites in and had to get a to go box. I also did not receive the tinga chimichanga. It was definitely a regular. And I would have much rather eaten this thing fresh as the guac goes bad so fast. It's not going to stop me from coming there again because I genuinely enjoy this place, but this was not a good experience for me. This was the older waitress, just to clarify. Not the younger one. I don't retain names, so my bad. Editing to add that my boyfriend was going out the door to vape away from the outdoor seating and saw our waitress doing a shot behind the bar. Which happens in a lot of places, but still.

Just plain rude when trying to place a carryout order. I'll take my business elsewhere.
Mexican? No not even close, if you want true and tasty Mexican go to southwest. The food has basic flavor with no concept of Mexican cooking. Should just be called American food made cheap, queso here is just mozzarella cheese melted. Tacos have zero flavor. I’m not even of Mexican decent but wanted to go in the kitchen and show them how to make a basic dish taste good. Establishment is dirty and disgusting looking, ever been in a porta potty and not wanted to touch anything that’s the way I felt walking in here. Server ok she was nice but not one bit enthusiastic to be there.
