My husband has deadly allergies to shellfish. It was such a comfort reading the.menu and knowing that we were safe to eat in a restaurant that didn't require my putting the epipen on the table with pleading eyes, that the chef wouldn't kill him. The food was delicious, Aubrey, our waitress was great but Sandy the owner was amazing, coming to the table to discuss and comfort us regarding finding a safe space. We'll be back and THANK YOU!

This place is a hidden gem! The chocolate milk stout was superb, pretzel and cheese divine, and the service was excellent! And UM pulled it out! Bonus! Go Blue!

Food allergies??? Hit them up! I have never been to a more allergy friendly establishment. They are very dedicated to people's needs. (There is a family story behind it) I personally dont have any. But I have several friends that are so im always on the lookout. Either way, the food is good!

We love to eat here - it's worth the trip from Alpena. One small thing: we noticed that the ketchup served here has high fructose corn syrup as an ingredient.......did not expect that in a restaurant that specializes in dishes that include non allergenic and vegan options. As a vegan family we have excluded this ingredient from our own daily foods.

Food was good, service was ok, but forgot part of my order. Had ordered takeout two days earlier, pizza was ok. Crust was too gooey, toppings were good.

Will travel for vegan food, and add in some hiking, thrifting etc. I was excited to finally dine here after following on social media for a year. The food did not disappoint, and there were mocktails & dessert. It's great they're so allergy friendly, but I do wish the vegan options had their own menu. For example, the calzone was not marked vegan but the dairy cheese could be switched out, and the dough is vegan. So, I asked and got a vegan calzone. It was phenomenal.

What a great surprise! Quality food up north! The menu is their passion along with the brewing. They even cater to ANY food restrictions and allergies, if you call in advance, they will put together a safe meal for your special needs diner. We didn't have any special needs but we made sure to know it could be handled no matter what. Sandy the owner is a passionate business owner! I hope this place is supported and around for all our future up north visits!

I really like this restaurant. I also like that you can buy a beer for a vet. The food and atmosphere is great. We have always been here while it is not real busy. They have several varieties of beer, I have yet to have a bad one. The service is always very attentive and helpful. If you are looking for something good to eat that's not too heavy but can soak up the beer, I recommend the pretzel or flatbread.

Aubrey was out server. She did a great job advising us on our flight choices and appetizer. It was a quick stop for a snack, but can't wait to come back for dinner! The pretzel and beer cheese was so delicious! Our flights were a great way to sample many options. I love that they have meads as an option! Super fun atmosphere and staff!

We were visiting the Tawas area and stopped here for dinner. I had walleye, hubby had mango chicken, both were great. Server was professional and knowledgeable, would definitely return if we're in the area again.

I’m vegetarian and often struggle to find places that are accommodating, let alone provide multiple options for me especially while traveling in smaller towns. Stumbling upon Alcona Brew Haus was a breath of fresh air! Not only was the food fantastic, but the craft beers were astounding too. Top it off with great service, and this place is truly a gem. Couldn’t recommend them more!
