We stopped in on Friday 4/12/24. We were camping at Harrisville State Park and wanted to take our friend out for a nice Birthday dinner and Alcona Brew Haus did not disappoint us! We had the delicious Walleye and Bbq Ribs! Absolutely mouthwatering! Our server, can't remember her name, was attentive and funny! And we met the owner! She's Awesome and takes time to meet and greet the diners. Fantastic selection of beers too! I highly recommend this establishment! Food, atmosphere and cleanliness are Top Notch!

Have no clue how this place has so many good reviews!! The owner was over bearing!!! 30 bucks for a steak cooked med when I ordered med rare on the rare side. Zip sauce? Was never told it was so much soy sauce and olive oil nasty owner came out made excuse after other!!! The waitress never explained only said It's a speacial?? Owner made more excusas and still had to pay for steak !! Then would not take no for a anwser! Made me something elese threw out as soon as we left...watch she will come on here and say it was my fault!!

Given it's the off season, we still had an amazing dinner. The food was delicious and we enjoyed a cozy atmosphere! Look around at the little touches, nods to the previous restaurant, and the refurbished wooden stein as part of the entry door. Get the large pretzel with beer cheese for your appetizer. I had the cuban sandwich and substituted for brussel sprouts. The hubby got the Jamaican jerk entree which he devoured. We also enjoyed our in-house brews - Kolsch and Belgian Triple. Cheers

What a surprise this place was! There's nothing else like it in the area. I can't remember the last time I was in a restaurant this clean, seriously. The house made beer was excellent, and the meatloaf my wife had was the best we've ever tasted! The owner, Sandy, even came by our table and gave us a tour of the place. We hope to be back many times!
