This is one of my husband and I's top favorite places for our breakfast dates. They have the BEST pancakes! My hubby always gets their chocolate chip pancake, oh man, SO good!!

Kind people. Food was good - definitely recommend the pancake and sausage gravy scramble. We waited 40 minutes for our food after ordering.

We always enjoy coming here from Scottville on a Sunday for breakfast. Usually when we want to take a drive and have something different. Excellent service and good food.

They don't like large groups over 5 people. My group walked in and was greeted with negative remarks such as "another large group". Like sorry we wanted to eat and give you business. We were seated and waitress ignored us for 30 min. The person seating us even had to get our drinks. 30 min later we got our orders in and another 30 to get our food. What ticked me off was that the table next to us got seated and got their order taken right away.Food was delicious but terrible customer service. Will not return. The person we had a problem with was the older waitress lady with an accent. You can't miss her. She shouldn't have a job as a waitress anymore. You get paid to put a smile on your face lady...

Love this place! My husband and I go as often as we can. Love the food and the people. The Scottish nightmare is the best lady ever, love her!

Love this place, it's our go-to place for breakfast when visiting family in Oceana County. I highly recommend the eggless omelet or the pancakes(they're HUGE).

So much to love about this throw-back diner with excellent food and a fun, local, and updated/expanded cozy atmosphere -- except one MAJOR thing...the attitude of one long-time server. Everyone is so nice except for one waitress apparently from Scotland. Her attitude is SO RUDE!!!We began with a kind, young waitress. She got busy so this other woman took over. What a sad difference!#2 moaned when we asked for an extra napkin. Then, when we noticed there was some old food still on the fork at our place, we nicely asked if we could get a clean one. She picked one up from another table and THREW in onto ours, almost hitting my wife.Yes, she's been there for years. NO, she should be told to be courteous or take a hike. We wanted to tip our first waitress but NOT the "Scottish nightmare." I don't know if they pool their tips but we did not want the latter to benefit. 'Nuff said.

The pink elephant accommodated a large family group that straggled in. We laughed and participated with the staff and then made sure that the regular Sunday morning patrons got their seats and meals in a timely fashion. The potato skins scramble was suburb! Great food and community.
