Bunker's Smokehouse & Grille

A very historical and beautiful building. Our waitress was SO fantastic and I’m so happy we decided to come here today. The food is show stopping! A hidden gem in the heart of Hastings. People should be traveling for miles for this place. If I could rate it a 10/10 I would. But for now 5 stars works. GO. Just do it.

Wow, what a place! Great beer and very nice staff! The bartender was new to the restaurant so there were a couple hiccups there but everyone needs time to learn and I will gladly return. As other reviews say, get here early because the brisket goes quick. Not that the menu is limited a ton but because the brisket is that good!

Excellent food and drinks! Their service is outstanding and friendly. Didn't have to wait very long for our food. The manager came out to make sure we were satisfied. Such a pleasant atmosphere too. I recommend getting the cheese curds appetizer. Good prices for the meals.

Aubreanna was our server and she answered all of our questions for our first visit to the restaurant. The food has a very good taste when it comes to the smoke on the meat. My husband had the pic 2 meats, burnt ends ( which they ran out of in under an hour) & pulled pork ( that seemed to have a lot of big chunks of fat and very little meat. His 2 sides where backed Mac and cheese which was a bit dry or over baked but still good & French fries that where not fully cooked. I have the half baked chicken that had a nice crispy skin on it and a lot of juice under it. My 2 choices were the baked Mac and cheese & mashed potatoes ( which I had to ask to be heated up wouldn't even melt the butter I put on them. Then you get a nice size corn bread with each meal that's not warm and you get honey butter for the spread. We definitely will be back there are a few other things on the menu we want to try yet.

The barbecue is very good, the service is better and the value is great. So I will definitely be coming back to dine at bunker's smokehouse.I love the ability to chat, facilitated by no loud music. This alone is reason to come back again.If you like the feel of a family run restaurant on main street, you will love Bunker's Smokehouse.

Great jalapeño bacon honey mustard chicken sandwich! Great porky pulled pork cheese jalapeño coleslaw burger!

We visited Bunkers for the first time and were very happy! The food was superb and the staff very friendly. Shout out to our waitress Haily who was sweet, patient, and pleasant. She went above and beyond to explain the menu items to us. We chose the brisket with 2 sides. I had the baked beans and roasted corn. Hubby had fries and coleslaw. All were excellent! Everything was awesome and the corn bread with maple butter was the best! Very clean environment. Highly recommended!

The brisket nachos are out of this world. Atmosphere was nice friendly little bit of rustic also a little bit of home. Somehow they're able to pull off modern with old time charisma. Food was good I hope we meet again.

My dad and I never got our food after an hour of waiting, after the server took our order and gave us our drinks we waited and waited but our food never came. We finished our drinks and were never offered a refill so we left $35 and went across the street and got our food within 15 minutes. Safe to say I may never come back here I may have been expecting to much but at the same time it don't take an hour to cook two burgers.

Great food and service. We the pork belly tips and pulled pork, both were mouth watering! Sides we homemade with love! Staff was friendly and excellent service!

We had dinner yesterday for the first time and we loved it! Loved the pulled pork, sausages and the brisket that we shared! As soon as we parked our car, we could smell the delicious meats being smoked! Our first trip to Hastings, and it won't be our last!

Loved it, very fast service. Great tasting food. The cheese cake was amazing.

I would give 4 or maybe 5 stars except my smoked chicken (dark meat) was actually bleeding. The waitress took it back but the only way they had to cook it more was to deep fry it. It came back very greasy & unedible. She apologized but never offered a discount. That was half of my chicken that I left. Very disappointing!Update: the manager has contacted me and made things right. We will definitely give this place another try. I think it will be a 5 star rating as the food that we did eat was very, very good!!! As for the waitress....she did a great job other than handling the situation.

Not good at all!! I ordered a half brisket which came with two slices. It was so dry I couldn’t even swallow it without water. The coleslaw was flavorless. I don’t believe their bbq sauce is homemade either. The only good thing I have to say are their cheese fries are good. Over priced for what one gets.
