awesome food best we ve had . friendly n our favorite place
The food here is not authentic. The salsa is jarred. We were given one tiny bowl (smaller than a cereal-sized) of chips for a table of 4 people. A refill of chips was not offered. The chicken fajita meat has fake grill marks (previously frozen) and the meat and vegetables were not seasoned. There were only a scant amount of vegetables on the skillet. It didn't come with a side of rice and beans, like other Mexican restaurants when you order a fajita dinner. The food was okay if you are satisfied with the kind of Mexican food you can order at an American diner. The fajitas were overpriced at $14.99 without sides.

This is a pretty good Mexican restaurant, no alcohol though. The food was decent, chips good, salsa not that great, my burrito was quite good, but some other people in my group were not as impressed. Atmosphere is fine, but the building is older and nothing special. I doubt there is another Mexican restaurant nearby in that area, but I prefer several that are closer to where I live.

Great food and atmosphere. Called ahead to reserve a table, they had the table ready and we were seated immediately.

Small place, obviously family owned which is apparent from their comfortable attitude toward both their customers, food, and each other. This is both a pro and a con. But we'll come back to that. When you walk in, you do get to pick where you sit, and service is timely. I was in, ate, and left within 30 minutes. This is a dry restaurant, and it is NOT traditional Mexican food, but it is a specific kind. I ordered the three meat fajitas. They served me very thin salsa, with thick heavily browned chips, the chips were fine, but the salsa lacked both heat, and flavor being not bad, just not good, some salt and seasonings would have a gone a LONG way here. I requested lemonade, which they were out of. They also do not carry limes, so I had Lemons with my fajitas. When I asked about limes, the waiter pointedly disclosed that because they do not serve alcohol they do not have limes. There is no connection between the two, as limes are a traditional Mexican accoutrement, to not have them is subverting the expectation of most diners. This is what I mean when I say they are too comfortable. They do not care about your opinion. The meal came out, and while the portion was not bad, the flavor again was lacking definition. It tasted as though it had been seasoned with MSG, or maybe a light amount of Adobo seasoning. But nothing else. Again, nothing bad, but nothing great. Any additional seasoning here would have been great, but it was just MSG or Adobo. It's hard to tell because most Adobo seasoning is primarily MSG anyways and the amount was so light that if not for the few char marks on the steak, you would have thought the meat was only boiled with nothing on it. Total came out to 20ish dollars. Not bad for roughly 5 fajitas and timely, too. This place is OK, but a few adjustments could make it amazing. Make more traditional Mexican add ons available like lime, salsa Verde, or Roja. Add more seasonings other than salt/salt alternatives. These changes are not unreasonable, nor are they hard. In fact, I even read several other reviews, and many people had the same complaints. All in all, if you are looking for decently priced, lightly seasoned, quick food, come here. Just don't expect to have the best food, the best service, or the best experience. 3/5 for perfectly average, if slightly disappointing.

After my previous review... this is what I get for take out... almost no beans. I paid extra for fajita steak wet burrito with extra cheese. The steak is very tough....I could have gotten more from taco bell in their $5 meal deal

I ate here in 2020, excellent food back than. Yesterday not so much. My wet bean burrito was like it was frozen and they microwaved it. It seemed like it was not freshly made. They ran out of Guacamole. No sour cream, red sauce didn't look like red sauce had to use salsa left over, from the chips. The lettuce and tomatoes didn't seem fresh. Portion sizes have decreased dermatically. Restaurants seem to be suffering, I see more and more of this trend across the spectrum. It's just better not to eat out much anymore to avoid this. Portion & quality are decreasing, while prices are increasing. Sad to see this taking place.?

My friend and I tried to eat here today and minutes after sitting down a gentleman came over to take our drink order and word for word said to us, “I need to take your full order including drink, as I have 4 tables ahead of you and don’t have time for only your drink order we are too busy for that.” We told him we just sat down and hadn’t even had time to open the menu. I’ve never in my life experienced such rude service to the point where we got up and walked down the road to the local brewery where we did in fact receive wonderful service and great food. I understand being busy, as her and I have both worked in customer service our whole lives, but to come over to your customer with disrespect and a rude attitude right off the bat was completely uncalled for and is grounds for us to never come back or want to try this establishment. We had heard nothing but good things from others we know, which is why we wanted to try it, but we unfortunately saw none of that displayed today when the gentleman made us feel like we were a complete bother to him.
