Phil's Galley Reviews
Nice proportions and friendly service.
My sister-in-law from the area recommended Phil's as a good "mom and pop" breakfast spot (they do more than breakfast) while we stayed in Hastings overnight.
It was small, quiet, no frills, but the gal running it was super friendly and down to earth, reasonable prices, good portions, homemade raisin toast.
We got a great breakfast for the $.
Great food, fast, the price is cheap!

Phil's Galley is a small town gem known for its big taste and quality food, alongside small town hospitality. It is a cozy little place that feels like the spot where locals hang out. The Cuban sandwich and sweet potato fries are a must-try, while the King Size breakfast and full order of French Toast are both delicious and come in huge portions. Despite its small size, the service is fast and friendly, with attentive staff who know how to keep customers happy, even during the noon rush. It is recommended to visit for lunch around 12:30 or 1:00 to avoid the crowds. The venue is perfect for sharing a booth with strangers, making it a wonderful spot for a quick breakfast or a meal with friends. Phil's Galley is highly recommended for a tasty meal with great service, and many customers feel treated like family.
