We have been there several times since it changed hands and I have to say, the food is amazing! We have had the ribs, brisket tacos, brisket mac and cheese. The homemade ranch dressing is so good! Stephanie is always our waitress and does an outstanding job every single time. Always greets us right away with a huge smile, great sense of humor, fresh beverage refills right on time, prompt food delivery. Could not ask for better food or service. We look forward to returning. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

Stopped in to check out the new ownership and see what they had done with the place. We came in for taco Tuesday and had Stephanie as our waitress. She was very nice and outgoing. She informed us with all the information we needed regarding our food and drink specials. We will definitely be back just for the service Stephanie provided us. Also the place did a complete makeover. Go check them out and ask for Stephanie!

Stopped into the Evergreen and had the lovely Miss Stephanie as our server. She did an incredible job at explaining each menu item to us in every mouth watering detail. We ended up selecting the smash burger as recommended by our cute waitress.
We will definitely be coming in again and will insist on having the same waitress! Highly recommend!

If I could give this 6 stars, I would! The house made Maple-Bacon-onion jam Smoked Burger, house made macaroni and cheese, and the AHHHHMAZING Chili Cheese Grits were INCREDIBLE. I am NOT a beer drinker, and the Guava Ale was SOOOO good! We both ordered it! To accompany the AMAZING food, was our waitress, Brittny. She was beautiful, funny, personable and interesting! She made the experience even better! We will DEF drive the hour back to this place, again!

If you can take some constructive criticism here it is, if not well sorry.... true statements here: the staff really needs to be more attentive, the food even though your chef owner is wear a chef coat..... needs some help the ribs were only ok at best you should really take the membrane off the back of your ribs and it will allow them to be smoked tender the burger, not really a bar burger or a restaurant burger, more of made at home on the grill the brisket nachos you hit it out of the park.the brisket Mac n cheese so delicious BUT ya could give some brisket with it all and all it was an okay dinner on a Friday night but wont be back anytime soon

Was excited to try out the revamped evergreen tavern. Big crowd tonight so we knew we would need to wait.. 39 minutes before someone said hello. Drinks came out fast and cold but that is the only positive from the evening. We ordered right away to get the order in only to see every table that came in after us get served before us. We made light of it at first but after 5 tables that came in after us received their order, we were about to leave. Waitress was apologetic but after 2 hours of waiting, just to receive incorrect food.. we were pretty over it. Food was served without silverware and I was given a butter knife to cut ribs that were not fall off the bone. We asked to speak with the manager or owner who was in the dining room at the time. After speaking with him, the waitress returned and said he would be coming over. She told us that our meals were on the house and that was the last we saw of her and the owner didn’t have the basic courtesy to come over and speak with us. Very disappointed.
