Tried Evergreen Tavern for the first time today and my husband and I really enjoyed it! They had staff call in so it was just the owners running the lunchtime shift. The wife apologized several times and we kept saying it was totally ok (we weren’t in a hurry). Hope it was just an off night to go there. They were out of chili at 4:30. No tomatoes on brisket nachos which were heaped high but little brisket on them. I had them before and they were good.
We have been there several times since it changed hands and I have to say, the food is amazing! We have had the ribs, brisket tacos, brisket mac and cheese. The homemade ranch dressing is so good! Stephanie is always our waitress and does an outstanding job every single time. Always greets us right away with a huge smile, great sense of humor, fresh beverage refills right on time, prompt food delivery. Could not ask for better food or service.
