MR. J’s and the team catered our wedding at Crooked River. We definitely give them a 11/10. The food was amazing and the guests raved over it. We were a little hesitant not being able to do a taste testing beforehand, but we went on strong recommendations from the venue owners and the DJ even was excited because he said it was amazing. Do not let that shy you away from using MR. J! We went with the taco bar for dinner and had them do the meat and cheese trays for cocktail hour.
We cannot give them enough credit. Everything was great and was served on time. 👍 👍

We used this venue for my daughter's baby shower. It is a very warm and cute hall. We chose the pasta bar and it was really good, all the guests were happy with the meal. Carey is amazing to deal with to get things how you want them, J himself was also very nice and welcoming, and the other staff were so friendly too. I rate it a good deal and lovely environment.

Mr. J is very disrespectful and unprofessional. I was a party planner hired out by a third party. I called 4 times within a week for instructions and questions, left name number and brief message and never got a return call. When the party happened he was very rude and repetitive to hired out employees. When trying to borrow a tray to take snack cups to table the bartender was screamed at. With Mr.J stating that tray has to stay there cause it covers and odor! Gross. When you own a business please remember to be kind and professional. Your rudeness and disrespect caused this review plus work of mouth. Do better!

Can I give less than one star? I worked as a decorator and bartender, and Mr. J came up to me after another bartender tried to go behind his bar and borrow a tray to put some snacks on the tables. Mr.J said “ I don’t want you here.” he was seriously yelling at me saying that he told me and the party host that he didn’t want bartenders here and he doesn’t supply bartenders with any supplies. He was seriously in my face. My other bartender had to come around and say “hey, you know stop bitching at her” because he kept repeating himself. I was shaking, this guy is a nightmare. His staff was great and really friendly, but I would not recommend ever having an event at this place. It’s really too bad because it’s kind of a beautiful venue, but please don’t go there.
Food was terrible! Beef tips were like chewing on rubber with watered down gravy and dried out noodles. Chicken gravy was so bad I didn't eat my mashed potatoes which where lumpy and tasteless. No butter for the rolls. 1 pair of salt and pepper shakers on table. My only recommendation would be not to use Mr. J's.

We used Mr. J’s for our son’s graduation open house. I had the privilege of being at a couple events prior that they catered and it is so worth it!! I was stress free, they are helpful, professional and accommodating. The food is AMAZING!! I wouldn’t recommend another place. You won’t be disappointed!

This place needs Wifi and Cell service. We could not get signals to share photos and video at a family wedding recently attended. Hoped we could make video calls to out of state relatives, but we could not....so disappointed in this.
