We enjoyed our breakfast at Hesperia House. Service was pleasant, timely and helpful. Portions were large and tasty. Dining room was fairly plain. We would return.

Ordered the hot turkey open faced sandwich. I substituted fries for the mashed potatoes. Came with sliced turkey lunch meat instead of a slice of real turkey breast. What a joke. Cost me 10.99

For only having one server who is doing it all on the floor, she was great. Food was great.

The food was great, they were short staffed so the service was about slow but that was to be expected under the circumstances. We will definitely be coming back on our way through Michigan

Went there last night at 5:30. Website said they close at 8:00. Soon as we walked in waitress said they close at 6:00 (and it was a friday night). But its ok. You can come in and i might have to sweep around you. Ordered fried chicken, salad and baked potato. After about 30 minutes we asked where is our salad. Waitress said shed didnt want to start them yet cause the chicken takes 17 minutes Geeze wouldnt you like to atleast get the salads out? When we got them the bowl was very small but fill of salad. The pieces were so big you had to cut them twice to fit in your mouth. With that being said, it was all over the table. Now here comes our well done chicken. Fried so much wgen you tried to eat it the coating went all over the place. Even on the floor. Only thing good was the baked potato. Now in closing i wanna say, the waitress started clean up with about 10/12 people still in there. She started putting all the chairs on top of the tables then proceeded to sweep the floor. Out comes the filthy nasty dirty mop bucket. She parked it next to our table with the smell of pinesol while we were trying to finish our potato. Im not kidding, that mop bucket had never been cleaned out since they owned it.
The waitress was young and I don’t think she got it. So all I gotta say run down to the next restaurant don’t bother stopping there. I only wonder what the kitchen looks like now.
I was new to the area so I tried this place for breakfast.
The server greeted me within moments of entering, there was plenty of seating, and the other diners gave me pleasant smiles.
The menu was diverse and VERY reasonably priced.
I have received my food significantly slower at the McDonald's Drive through on multiple occasions. I hadn't even gotten properly settled yet, and my food was in front of me.
With that speed I expected low quality, but instead my order was correct (complete with my requested modification) and the food was quite tasty.
The server kept my coffee cup full and warm, and was helpful in assisting me in picking out my order.
Will be back.
Forgot my food

Very plain Jane restaurant. No real effort in the food. When you ask for over easy eggs, the eggs come back snotty. Nothing really at all homemade. Pretty much everything tastes like it come from a can. Sausage gravy sucks. Soups are sometimes good. One day, it was so loud in the back w the workers complaining so much for like 20 minutes over some breakfast dish that wasn't made right and I simply walked out. I mean who wants to hear a bunch of bitching first thing in the morning, or, at all. I used to go all the time, but, just got worse to me, now all I get is coffee, or, scrambled eggs n toast. They have one awesome waitress named Shelly, and that's about the best I can speak.
Its ok
Like it when I can still order Sunday breakfast and others can order lunch.
Staff was very friendly and hard working.

Wouldn't know how the food was, we never got it. After waiting over an hour after ordering we decided to leave. The waitress even got our drink orders wrong, and only came by once to refill coffee in the time we were waiting. Other wait-staff seemed to be on their game and their food was coming out in a reasonable timeframe, so I'm not sure what happened with our order. They did comp our drinks and apologize. It was a real bummer of an experience all the way around.
