Hightower Bar & Grill (formerly Hightower Saloon)

Can I just say that we have been here twice now and both times the food was amazing( best pizza in the area) best perch in the county, and we can’t say enough about the fun efficient servers! Ya gotta go here! Prices are good too!!! So worth the drive!

I love to come here, especially on the bike in the spring, summer and fall. It’s usually my go to place when my husband asks where I want to go. Food is always good the price average with the times. I just left there tonight , not terribly busy our bill typical 60-70 $ . I think my main issue is with the wait staff service. We waited our typical 10 min. then I as usual I approached the bar and ordered our drinks and asked for someone to wait on us for food. I then waited another 7 minutes for a wait staff to order. I had three beers and each one I had to go up to the bar and get myself , I am a former bartender/ server myself so I totally get it if it’s busy. I am 63 and sometimes love to go out where someone waits on me these days. We had interaction with the server twice, once to order and once at delivery. We even went up to the bar to receive bill and then pay. I will be back yes, yet the service needs much improvement.

Always have great meals at the Hightower bar and Grill! The pizza is really good and one of my favorites is that chicken burrito!
Tonight we had one of our favorite servers Heather wait on us. She did such a good job, even though the place was packed.

We have eaten here several times and it is one of our favorites even though its a 25 mile drive. Walleye, perch, burgers, pizza, and several others are our favorites. Super service, great prices, and nice views of the lake. It also is,a comfortable, backyard environment. Highly recommend this place.

Great outside dining! They have a deck overlooking a quiet lake. Cool place to drop in for burger and beer or dinner and drinks.

Came for lunch while camping.
Had great prices, people, and food! Absolutely will be coming back every year when we camp.

Had the perch, wings and shrimp baskets. (Couldn’t pick one)
Everything was cooked great and seasoned perfectly.

Went to another local restaurant and was very disappointed with the food (and more expensive for worse quality) after having great food at Hightower Bar&Grill.

Food is good bar food, better than the average bar! Owner is a good guy. Waitresses can be hit or miss, depends on which one you get & how things are going, lol! Nice old fashioned bar with wood floors & a great view of High Tower Lake from the nice dining deck (take your mosquito repellent!) Poor wine selection, but would definitely recommend this establishment.
