We went here a few weeks ago with my parents to celebrate my children being done with 6th and 8th grades. After ordering drinks, we were told the kitchen was running behind. I did not think to ask HOW far behind. That was my folly. My kids ordered waffles and my parents and I ordered the same omelet minus one with onions. It took close to 1hr 30 mins to get our food. We did not get a discount. We did not get much of an apology. We were NOT expecting fast food as Dandelion has never been fast with service. However we were not expecting such a long wait. My children's waffles were just that--a square waffle only. Nothing else. Crunchy too. I'm not sure what is going on but we will not be going back for a very long time. It's disappointing because it is a great location and a cute cafe. But not worth it.
Friendly and great healthy food choices
Great food and quaint setting. New management dedicated to continuing the tradition of the lake's best sit down. Was in today for brunch. Seems the old owner is having some trouble letting go, causing some tension, but the food and staff are still fantastic! Will return!
After an early morning hike in the Kellogg Bird Sanctuary ( a great place to watch birds), we needed breakfast. The Dandelion is right across from the gate. A small cafe with excellent food. We had the French toast made from their homemade brioche. Nice and eggy with a good taste and served with what appeared to be real maple syrup. For some reason I have been trying out French toast when we go for breakfastThe Dandelion was the best I have tried. The rest of the menu also looked good. Worth a trip for birds and breakfast or lunch.
We had a delicious breakfast. The server was friendly and efficient. She met customer's needs and paid special attention to the children in our party. A lovely place to enjoy good food with friends.
Great food! I had the stuffed french toast, very yummy. Wonderful customer service, very friendly. I will be going back.
Delicious locally grown fresh foods. We enjoyed breakfast. Nice atmosphere.
Fresh ingredients, friendly service, homemade baked goods. This is a breakfast and lunch cafe with a warm welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely return so I can try more of the items on the menu.
Dandelion Cafe is a fantastic restaurant. They definitely pay attention to details: the restaurant is extremely clean, there are fresh flowers on the table, the waitress is genuinely kind and caring, and the jam is homemade. I ordered a veggie scramble and my husband ordered a ham and cheese omelet and a side of hashbrowns. We will definitely be back!
This place is a hidden treasure by Gull Lake. You will be surprised by the gracious staff and warm dining area. But, it's the homemade food that will wow you and cause you to want to return again and again.

Such a cozy, home town gem! Great service, even better food! Check 9y out!
So blessed to have you right down the street from me. I always try to bring my friends in whenever they come into town. Just wish you were open more often. Can't say thank you enough for creating such healthful food with the best and most natural ingredients.
Amazing food, and cute atmosphere.
Delicious, fresh food with excellent friendly service!
Just wish they were open til dinner too! It is good food presented well in a clean and natural setting, made with quality ingredients. They, even sell real sugar/ glass-bottle Cokes; if they also offered sweet-tea for us Appalachians they'd be perfect.
