I immediately felt unwelcome, as if being a customer was an inconvenience to the teenage staff working there. There was no sense of good customer service—no smiles or greetings—and I was even interrupted midway through placing my order so they could chat with a colleague. The menu was extremely limited; while the coney dogs were decent, with such a small selection, I expected the food and service to be much better. The whole place felt more like a carnival stand than a proper diner—especially considering they don’t even serve fries. The iced tea was grainy and unimpressive. That said, the diner itself has a lot of potential, with a nostalgic atmosphere that, for a moment, really stood out—until I was reminded that Gen Z seems to have lost the art of service with a smile. (And I say this as a teenager myself.) helpful tips: adding some nostalgic music would liven the place up & keep the business alive.

I love throwback diners and George & Sally's is definitely a throwback! Come enjoy the sights and smells of this 50s style diner! Great look from the outside, easily seen from the road. Parking is ample with plenty of spots! Food is hot, fresh and well prepared with generous portions! Take a step back in time and dine how they used to at George and Sally's Blue Moon Diner!

Cute little 1940's working diner. It serves mostly sandwiches, hot dogs, chili or a soup, and frozen custard. Sandwiches come with a side like coleslaw, potato salad, or chips. Impeccably clean and the food is limited but good. Perfect for a quick bite to eat while spending the day exploring Gilmore.
We love it so much, we got married here!...get the coney and a milkshake!

Cute 1941 diner with simple fare. Great custard! Worth a stop. On the grounds of the Gilmore Car Museum.

the hot dogs themselves are okay they could have been hot that would have been nice would have been nice if the cheese was melted and the onions cooked or the toppings not ice cold. good and feeling not great. cookies unfortunately were dry.
Fun diner...takes you back in time!
Food service for an eventful day sorely lacking. Cafe and food truck both out of service.Left patrons standing in the RAIN. And the staff completely swamped. Sad.
Fun historical experience and good diner food.
It's an old time diner brought from Connecticut. Service was great.great blue and white tile through out. It's at the car museum. Absolutely ????
Kid-friendliness: Hot dogs are their specialty with chips and ole time drinks

It's a cute diner and the hot chocolate we got was really good!
Very friendly, and helpful. Went out of the way to check for an allergy that I have. May an allergy friendly menu should be put together. I am dairy free, so I got the coney dog without cheese and applesauce. Very good. Hopefully this helps someone else with a DF diet.
A great spot for lunch while visiting the Gilmore Car Museum! Their chicken salad sandwich was delicious and the space really captured the feeling of an old timey diner. Definitely would recommend.
Just a wonderful Museum with so much to see and experience. If you love cars or beautiful art that many of these cars represent you will love this Museum. There's something for everybody.
