The LIFT @ STS

Smoked meats were outstanding. Service kept buffet stocked and hot until we ran out of beef brisket. The banquet hall was chilly during the company Xmas party. Ran out of chairs for my date to sit so he stood at the table during his meal. We left early and skipped playing the games on account of feeling uncomfortably cold inside. Maybe we'll try again in summer.

As a door dash driver this is the only restaurant in the area I pause for orders. They do not have designated staff who take care of their carryout orders and unfortunately every time I've come for an order I wait a minimum of 15 minutes before door dash unassigns me. This means the poor customer, when their food is done, it is likely sitting for a long time and cold once they get it.

I was visiting the town and came in with my family for lunch. From the outside it looks like the place is not open so I first had to go in and ask if they are open or not. The waitress and the service was great and so was the atmosphere. We were the only people there which felt kind of odd but we wanted to give it a try because they had smoked brisket which we all love. Well the food came out and was a huge disappointment, we ordered the steak bites appetizer, the server brought out a cup full of oil with the steak bites in it, it was disgusting, the meat is liter drowning a pool of oil. Then came the rest of the food, brisket, ribs, smoked chicken and a chicken sandwich. Everything was cold and stale and pretty dry. The chicken sandwich that my wife had was also cold except for the bacon on it which was warm.
