A kids popsicle is $5.00, that seems like it is more than necessary. I tried a home made cookie sandwich. The cookies were very hard to bite into at first but once they thawed it was better.
There is a window to order at and no public restrooms. Along the busy street there is a table and benches but it's not very peaceful.

I stopped on an 85° sunny day, with no other car in the lot, no one else waiting. In retrospect this should have been a big red flag. I asked for a chocolate soft serve cone and was told that they only have vanilla. They did have chocolate as scoop ice cream. Glancing at the menu on the glass that advertized the scooped ice cream was from Guernsey Farms, which is really good quality. My single scoop cone was $5. Huh? So I taste it. Hardly any flavor. Lots of ice crystals and chunks. Very little butter fat. What was served was likely Meijer or Kroger's ice cream, not Guernsey Farms! Added to the dull while expensive ice cream was a stale tasting cone. It likely was opened last fall. Yuck!

Went for some ice cream on a beautiful 80 degree day and there was not a single customer, did not take long to realize why. My children had walked up first, and by the time I walked up the woman was handing them random ice cream items that had no price posted anywhere. She added up all the items on her calculator and the total came up to $33..for 5 ice cream items. 5 items that would have normally cost about $15 at the most. This place is a scam!!! I do not know how this woman can sleep at night knowing she is taking advantage of people in this area!! This establishment will never get a dollar out of me again!!!

Honestly i was freaked out by this place. We walked up and rung the bell for service to be met with the sounds of what sounded like porn coming from the back. we ordered our ice cream which was low quality and freezer burnt. The lady whom i assume was the owner was very pushy when it came to upselling her Chinese food. Will never go back and neither should you.

Ewww listen to the reviews!! Ice cream is disgusting. No idea why they would ever serve that to anyone! Paid $13 for 2 cups and they’re completely freezer burnt & inedible. I called to complain and she just said sorry, didn’t even offer a refund. Definitely won’t ever be back

Heads up, the food did NOT disappoint & was almost worth the hassle. It was fresh, hot, great portions & cost what is usually expected. However, against my own wishes, I felt I needed to bring a couple of things to attention.

1) Never patroned here but heard Jenny was here from old Wonton Palace so called (6:20 pm) to see if I could place an order ahead of time as it seemed this is a small establishment with a drive thru as an old ice cream facility. Staff said they did not have enough egg rolls for my order & asked if I'd be willing to wait. For Jenny's food, I had no issues. She asked for 40 minutes. Ok. No problem, ran an errand before heading that way (15 minute drive).

2) Got there, parked, did not know how the pick up worked so got out of car (like previous customer had done)"& went up to window. Told them my name for order & asked if I had given them enough time. They needed more, & kindly insisted I return to vehicle to stay warm, then line up in "makeshift" drive thru & they would bring it out.

3)While trying to back up into drive thru, it was challenging to see because there were not many lights that lit up the parking lot. So I took a couple pics in hopes of sending a message to owners that even motion sensor light bulbs would help if it was a matter of cost because I felt someone may hit a person or another vehicle. After sitting & waiting for a few minutes I turned my vehicle off to save fuel, just as the white truck in front did.

4)I forgot to ask for silverware so I called again, now 7:26 pm, staff Saud they only had spoons at the time, no forks. Ok. Understand things happen.

5) Almost 30 minutes go by & staff brings out food for customer in front, as I try to turn my vehicle back on & turn lights on, they keep backing up, then I hear a crunch. They stop & as I try to get out of my vehicle (mind you I currently have a disability) they drive away.

6) Staff then brings my order out & apologizes for wait, explained what happened then we both try to see if any damages but again, it's not lit up well. Figured if I see damages today, ironically, I have the person's license. I'll file a report

Pulled out, called a family member to tell them what happened, it was 7:56 pm.

7) When I finally was able to try the food, as I mentioned, it did not disappoint except for the egg rolls ( I ordered extra) they seem like they were taken out of fryer too soon as outside wrap was quite soft & soggy in some areas. Wondering if they were just trying to get us our food as fast as possible.

If owner's see this, I'd highly suggest you brighten up the parking lot somehow.

For the taste of the food & my limitations on what I can ear, I would likely go back, but it definitely won't be after dark.

If I could leave 0 stars I would! I hate to do this but I feel like I should save some people a headache. I ordered and was quoted 45 minutes for a sweet and sour chicken dinner and a sushi roll which is understandable for a Saturday evening so I arrived 50 minutes later and the person told me that she had a meeting with her boss and just forgot about the order. I asked how much longer it would take for the order and she said 20 more minutes for the chicken and a long time for the sushi roll. The person just said you still want it? No apologies or anything of the sort. To avoid the McDonald’s line on Saturday I would be hesitant about this place if I were you.

An interesting little building in Highland, MI located on Highland Road (M59). Don't let the name deceive you, this place does have sweets like ice cream, but really it's more of a Chinese food restaurant! Great selection of Chinese inspired foods too at a decent price! Staff is friendly and quick! Parking can be a lil tricky at times but don't get discouraged, something will open up eventually! When your in Highland, Michigan, Snack Attack is a must try for any fan of Asian cuisine!
