I have been going to this bakery since it opened as I visit the Great Lakes Military Cemetery a few times a year. Fell in love with their carrot cake on day one but yesterday tried jam thumbprint cookies and by far the best I’ve ever eaten!!!!!!
Cupcakes and Kisses is such a charming little bakery tucked into the corner in the downtown strip of Holly. The cupcakes are to die for! The building is super cute and quaint. Everything is fresh and homemade with love. The ladies in here are so sweet and pleasant to interact with. Nothing but good things to say. I could tell you my favorite flavors, but you truly gotta try them all. Raspberry vanilla and strawberry fields were delicious. I like the carmel/turtle ones, but SERIOUSLY....
We were camping at Holly State Park and needed a German chocolate cake for a birthday. We’re not from the area, so I took a chance on Cupcakes and Kisses Holly—and I’m so glad I did! I’ve had issues before with bakers adding frosting around the sides (which my husband really doesn’t like), but the woman I spoke with was so kind and helpful. She suggested using the coconut pecan filling all the way around instead, and it turned out absolutely perfect.
