I really miss the Holly Hotel, especially this time of year. They always had the most wonderful Halloween and Christmas experiences. We loved the food and ambience here and the comedy club in the basement was a fun and affordable night out for everyone. The person that blocked them from rebuilding after the fire should be ashamed for taking this wonderful restaurant from the community. Shame on you!

it seems the owner responds to reviews, so I'm going to try something... I only went here once many years ago and really enjoyed it, and am hoping to take my wife back here in a few months, but I see it's still closed. Hoping the owner could share any details on when it may re-open? :')

I was mistaken. It is currently closed due to a fire in an adjacent building, not rude, just mistaken, and easily corrected.

We live about an hour away but used to visit regularly several years ago. However, we stopped going after an unpleasant experience with the owner, who took issue with me wearing a winter hat (which had no writing on it) inside the dining room during winter. This left a negative impression, and we chose not to return.

Additionally, we encountered several issues with the membership program, such as never receiving the card and difficulties with locating our name in the system. Instead of feeling valued as paying customers, we often felt dismissed and belittled.

While the food was generally good, there was a notable decline toward the end of our visits. On one occasion, I ordered the Beef Wellington, which had a taste that was off, making it nearly inedible. I suspect the meat was spoiled. Furthermore, I was surprised to find that the restaurant does not allow customers to order steaks cooked to their preferred level, which led me to believe that much of the food is prepared in advance and may not be as fresh as expected.

This place was amazing. We ate there several times with family and friends. Drove hours out of our way to eat here. It was a great experience, it’s a shame about the fire and restoration issues with the new arcade owner.

Unfortunately, it is not open since the fire happened next door.

I hear this hotel is haunted. I’d love to see this place some day.

Had a great dinner out on the patio with excellent service. A very nice quaint locl place to stop in for a visit.

Can't say enough good things about this one-of-a-kind gem. History. Menu. Atmosphere. Holly Hotel had it all for many years. I earnestly hope that the legal problems which have halted post-fire renovations can be resolved - in the Hotel's favor - very soon.

Purchased a 2 year membership never got my package and that's after being a member for 4 years prior to June 2021. I called and left numerous messages and never a return call back would of been nice.

Very nice place. Can't wait for the restoration!

Food was terrible. Wife and I were dressed up for a night out with friends, the comedy club was fantastic, the food in the restaurant was horrible and expensive. We'll be back for the comedy, but eat elsewhere first.
