Small town family dinner. Like sitting in grandma's kitchen. Enjoyed listening to the locals talk about life's circumstances while we waited for our food. The wife had a grilled ham and cheese that was wonderfull...so she said. I had the steak burger that tasted like nothing I have ever had..in a good sense. Grilled onions and mushrooms with a sauce that was so tastefull. Only thing to beat the taste was the price...very reasonable to say the least...just visiting from...
Great prices and good food. I ordered one of their specials, a chorizo and cheese omelette, rye toast and coffee for less than $10. It's hard to find a good breakfast, including coffee, nowadays for that price.

The restaurant is a laid back mom and pop, and I imagine it is frequented by a lot of local regulars from what I observed. Mom and pop restaurants in small towns are my favorites.

We stopped here during a road trip for a quick bite. The waitress was super nice and accommodating but the food was just so so. French toast was on plain bread (from a bag) and tasted like it was cooked on dirty griddle. Could taste other flavors that weren't supposed to be in French toast.
