First time at Garrett's was pleasant with prompt and attentive service by Jessica. She's a welcoming gal with good vibes and met all of our needs with a smile. We got to make some minor changes to our meals when we ordered and the food was hot, fresh and delish! I'm from a busy city so a little background music would be nice but, great if your looking for a quiet spot.Parking: This is a quaint place to dine with sufficient parking.

We’ve lived on Houghton Lake for two years and never stopped at Garrett’s. We finally went there for breakfast on Saturday. It was so good we went back Sunday. Had omelette Saturday and Gyro Sunday. Both excellent. The service was above and beyond. Those girls hustle. Marilyn was awesome. We are going back for Perch Friday. Garrett’s will be one of our go-to restaurants.

Me and my wife love this place and the staff is always awesome...
We made a special trip here to try the Mexican food, today is Thursday. We sat and looked over the menue several times and saw nothing Mexican on it. So I checked the online review where I saw the burrito photo, yeah we were at the correct place. When the waitress came back we asked her and she told us that they only serve Mexican food on Tuesdays. She named all of the dishes that are served on "Taco Tuesday " which contained many. But, remember I told you today was Thursday. She was super nice when we asked to get our drinks to go. We did leave her a $2 tip on the table. We then paid $5+ at the cash register for our two Cokes and went on our way.The place is small and quaint, a bit dark when comes to their lighting. The staff was friendly. If I ever get a Tuesday off with my husband I may visit again.
