We loved it here! We wanted to drive our jet skis across the lake to eat at a restaurant and found this place. Food was good and so was the atmosphere. We got the whitefish dip and Italian sandwich both very good

Arrived at 7:30, a group of 12, and left at 9:45. Over 2 hrs & Never got our food. They hadn’t even started making it. They still had 2 tickets in front of us. And this is why I don’t go to Limberlost.

Not a good place to be at. The food isn’t all that great, nor is the service. I had a server who barely came over to me, she never asked if I wanted refills on drinks, didn’t even bring me my food or ask how it was after it was served to me! Don’t even get me started on the management here either. Cora treats her employees terribly. I saw it first hand. She is very degrading towards them and has no empathy. I genuinely don’t know how this place is still running with management like this. It used to be a wonderful spot to be at on the lovely Houghton Lake…but these last few years have been nothing short of terrible!

We stopped by last night to check out the Limberlost. We had read some bad reviews. Wanted to see for ourselves. We found that we enjoyed the place. Cassie our bartender was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was enjoyable. We had a shrimp appetizer. It was good. Then we ordered a filet mignon. Nevaeh cooked it to perfection. She even put our last few pieces back on the grill to heat them up. We would definitely go back.
