Booked this place last August for our rehearsal dinner this coming August, we drove 5.5hrs up to meet with the owner, she knew we were coming and she refused to meet with us. It took over an hour to get her to come talk to us. Once she did we agreed to all the details, including to bring our own entertainment for the entire establishment to enjoy. We were told by the owner herself that she would send us menu options that next week. It has now been 8 months and we have not heard back from her. We have called, texted, and emailed the bar and her personal number multiple times. Every time I call the restaurant they say “she’s really busy and she will call tomorrow”. This is extremely unprofessional and she has now left us scrambling last minute to find a suitable venue to host a dinner. Their website states they host parties such as this, if they didn’t want to do it she could have just told me instead of booking it and leaving me hanging. 10/10 do not recommend.

While the service was excellent and the cook on the food was solid, this long standing restaurant truly needs an infusion of attention to detail. There is so much under-utilized + wasted space, the ambience is non-existent, the amazing charcoal, real fired cooking station is 100% not being utilized to create a destination spot and you would never know that this establishment sits on the water.Someone needs to buy this place, renovate it and create a draw where people will drive 1 - 2 hours in every direction. ALL of the variables are in place to do so.

Waited 25 mins for waiters to come tell us a mix up in kitchen so it would be a few more mins for appetizers only to wait an additional hour to have appetizers and dinner arrive at the same time... Beautiful scenery piss poor kitchen help. Got to watch two families come in after we ordered food, got to watch them eat their meal, get tickets, and leave.. all before we got the appetizers.

The service was very attentive and pleasant, everyone on staff was very nice and accommodating, the food was less so. My burger's bottom bun was soaked by 10 pickles and half a red onion which killed any other flavor, fish was over breaded and ribs were overcooked. Omg the mushrooms are amazing. I drive 25 min out of my way when passing by to pick up takeout just to get the fried mushrooms! My life would be less awesome if I couldn’t get these mushrooms!

this was our family 3rd time come out to this place each time the food was disgusting!! So we try to give this place a 3 try hope for new cook, better food!! My daughter Coconut sharp was not cook all the way, my boyfriend hamburger was not the right weight for what the Menu said and my food was Steak fajitas, the Seasoning on it didn't go with it, way to much oil!!We pay A double crown and coke #2Customer service was okay..
