Good food, good prices, cold drinks, and EXCELLENT service - always!!!

I’ve been here many times and love the food and never had an issue with any of the workers being rude. Today I order the cod fish dinner and wanted sweet potato fries as that’s one of the sides and what I always get. The older bartender was really rude and said the sweet potatoes are $2 more and don’t count as a regular side. Even when I showed the menu where sweet potato fries was indeed an option. She said they can’t afford to change the menu every time they change a price and said if I haven’t been charged in the past it’s because people weren’t doing their jobs.

if people want to complain about prices for such little food ..remember everything is expensive now THEY have to make money as well

First the good. The service was top notch, waitress attentive & accommodating. Bev, you are an amazing server! We started with wings as appetizer with bourbon sauce, overall good. He ordered the cod basket which was pretty good. Sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious also.
The bad: the whitefish bites basket. The fish was slightly overcooked and had some bones. The dining area is just one big open room (no booth seating). Slightly difficult to hold a conversation with your party as some areas you are packed in pretty close. They don’t serve Moscow mules either, boo ?Heads up Coca Cola fans, they only serve Pepsi. Double boo ??

I got the Whitefish fingers. One side was a little soggy. The flavor was good, good breading.

It's nothing to brag about, I will say when we went there was a 25 minute wait and the food was just run of the mill bar food that and there wasn't much of it, my chicken wrap was bland and my husband paid $4 for 6 sized onion rings about the size if a dollar coin, he did say his mushroom Swiss burger was good.

Flew our airplane from APN to HTL. Walked there from the airport. 1/4 mile walk. Food was good and priced right. Good service. We will be back.

Got carryout. It was busy. We got a BLT pizza, Caesar salad, Baja chicken sandwich and waffle fries.

The Caesar salad was the best thing we got.

The pizza dough was 100% undercooked and there was pizza sauce on the BLT pizza..? Not sure if it was just an autopilot thing but I definitely don’t buy BLT pizza if I want red sauce. The chicken sandwich was literally just OK. The waffle fries were not crispy at all, and the maple Dijon sauce was forgotten entirely. 4 stars for atmosphere because I like the decor of the restaurant and I’ve been here before and had a decent experience. 3 stars for service because one of the waitresses was not happy I was standing in front of the ice machine while waiting for my food and made it known. Another server was very nice to me when she saw the other server was not.

Pretty disappointing all around to be honest. I paid $40 for nearly every element to be incorrect or not cooked well.

Picked up takeout after arriving in town for the week. I was really impressed by the salmon.

I was served RAW broasted chicken!!! And No Apology Made!!! The off-the-charts rude Bartender just explained how sometimes if it's large it isn't cooked. Well, if they are aware of that then why don't they cook it longer? Thank God I didn't bite into it. After cutting into it and contaminating my whole plate of food and possibly salmonila poisoning the bartender did not bring me my beans. I asked for them and she said, "you ate nearly all of them." Did she see me? No, bc I shared the meal with my friend of which she knew and argued about giving me half a bowl of green beans. Besides being rude, she lied to my face about eating them. I don't think I have ever been treated so poorly by wait staff and I used to serve myself for seven years during my college days. A few years ago I sold my house nearby and missed the area so I told my friend about this great place that sells broasted chicken. I totally forgot about the miserable bartender as I used to frequent that restaurant weekly. We stopped and were patient to get our meal and so excited for my friend to try it. I can wholeheartedly say that experience will keep me from ever returning to that restaurant. I had to apologize to my friend for witnesseing such rudeness. You know who you are Bartender. I hope someday you can figure out why you're so damn miserable and spreading your sickness to all that sit at your bar!!!

Quintessential up north bar. The food was good, and the service was responsive. Be prepared to wait.....we tried to go 3 mights in a row, and the place was packed. We eventually had to pull an "Early Bird" dinner, it was worth it.
