We reserved a party of 13 on a busy Saturday night. Our server was AMAZING! She had a constant smile, and she was on top of all we needed! Side note: we have never had a bad server here!) The food and environment was incredible as always.. and every staff member we encountered was smiling, happy and friendly.
What a gem in the area! Great for date night or dinner with friends. Love that they have a great reliable regular menu and different seasonal/specials if you want to try something new. Consistently good service and food. It’s a great atmosphere inside as well. And appreciate that they take reservations!!!
Delicious meal and great service! 10/10 and will be back!
Great restaurant. Well worth the short trip from Grand rapids.

Nice restaurant with wonderful service.
The food was okay for the pricing. Loved the twice baked potatoes and banana bread pudding!

Fish was a little bland.
Was kinda disappointed. Always had really good food on our way through the town. Service was great.

Was super excited to try this place after I found it online. “The Forager” as a name rings through to an experience I built up in my mind.
But have to say, was slightly disappointed by the food overall. Tried the pork schnitzel, NY strip, fish and chips and the French dip. Fish was delicious. Onions and bacon on the schnitzel was great, but the dish just didn’t awe.
Left feeling underwhelmed for the price tag.

My girlfriend and I ordered the Rib eyes medium rare. The steaks were very thin. One came out medium and the other rare. They took the rare one back and reheated it. Half was now well done. These steaks were very overpriced. $54 for about 12 ounces and poor quality. Everything else was good. Our server did very well.

Food was good but, service was not. Waitress didn’t check on us and took much too long to bring bill and we had to over wait again just for her to come back to get our payment, not too impressed.

This is our fourth time coming to this restaurant. We came here for our anniversary dinner. The food is excellent here. Service is great. The stuffed dates were delicious. Pictured is the jumbo crab cake meal.

We visited for the first time today and we will definitely be back! The atmosphere is terrific with the old building being very well updated and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the building and menu.
The food is amazing. I had the bison/beef blend meatloaf and my wife had the bluegill. Our son had the kids burger. All was delicious. Then we finished with pumpkin cheesecake and apple crisp ala mode. Both big enougj for two people. We can’t wait to go back!!
