Vitales Pizzeria Reviews
We have ordered from Vitales on Leonard and west river for years so to learn hudsonville was close, we started using them. The pizza is greasy and we have ordered this multiple times. The burritos are so salty and although the owner returned my money we were also told not to order this as it does not meet our taste pallet. As my kids are burrito lovers we have ordered from the other two vitales, Julian’s, cantina and beltline so it’s not our pallet as they rate 10 out of 10...read full review
I would not recommend Vitale’s of Hudsonville for any wedding or event. They arrived late and had to be tracked down by my wedding planner. Once they finally showed up, they had pre-poured beers on a 95° day, leaving guests with warm, flat drinks. When questioned, they blamed the venue’s electrical system, even though the venue confirmed everything was working properly.
We had a kid-free event except for our own children, yet they were only offered two non-alcoholic...read full review
I’ve been to this location twice, both times the buffet made me and my co worker sick. Lots of the food looked like it was a day old. I’ve also noticed a lot of reviews about moldy food. This place is disgusting.

Vitale's Pizzeria offers consistently good food with a large menu. The pizza, such as the Meat Roma Pizza, is of excellent quality with great crust, balanced toppings, and just the right cheese, though sometimes the edges can be burned. Other standout dishes include a delicious chicken picatta, flavorful lasagna with a zing of seasoning, and soft, delicious bread sticks. The Caesar salad is crisp and fresh with flavorful dressing and great croutons, and a salmon Caesar salad with avocado, tomatoes, and kalamata olives is particularly praised for its perfectly cooked, flavorful salmon.
Service is generally attentive and the staff is sweet. The location is convenient with easy parking, and there can be no wait for a table during off-peak hours. However, the back room has significant issues: the tables are too close together and the space is so noisy it is difficult to hear your own table. Some menu items can be inconsistent, such as a smash burger whose patties were not flat enough and came with few onion rings for an extra charge, though the sauce was good. A major point of contention is a policy regarding outside cakes for celebrations; a fee is charged and a waiver required, which was not communicated clearly to one party, leading to feelings of poor customer service. Despite this, the food quality keeps many customers returning.
