Toarmina’s Pizza New Boston

We had an impromptu family get together, and needed to feed 8 people. I ordered 2 16” pizzas, 2 lbs of wings, and a large antipasto salad. Everything was delicious, fresh and delivered hot. The salad was good quality, and lots of stuff in it. I was craving a salad, and lately salads have been gross from most restaurants. Good value for a crowd.

They did a catering dinner for my wife's birthday! And they knocked it out of the park! From taking my order and delivering on time! Then the food was out of this world good! The go to place for great service and food!

We ordered a couple of the giant pizzas for our softball team. Everything was very good, and the service was excellent. Thank you guys so much!

So about six months ago I left a five-star review for one of my all-time favorite pizza joints. I have to edit this review now, but I feel like I need to preface this by saying that this really hits me in the heart. I’m sad I have to do this because the people who work there are typically pleasant and wonderful humans. I’ve been a Toarmina’s guy for most of my adult life. Owners: if you feel like I’m telling some truths here, please take this criticism as constructive and maybe re-examine some common practices.

The pizza has gone way downhill; like WAY downhill. I’m not talking one specific pie here. The thin crust is a greasy, floppy mess. The regular pizza is doughy and undercooked. The “extra” cheese barely covers a slice. And maybe this is a personal thing, but the flavored crust is wholly unnoticeable. Also, just a minor gripe, but the pies are never sliced all the way. I have to bring these things home and cut them myself. Really, your only saving grace is that giant, 24-inch bad boy…but even that has gone sub-par. I don’t know what specifically has changed, but it just isn’t working. You have to know when you see these things that you wouldn’t be thrilled about eating them yourself, and the fix really could be as simple as that. Take a look while you’re cutting only 75% of the pie; does it look like a good pizza? If it doesn’t, consider the hit to your reputation every time one of these goes out your door.

Again: great people. You guys are not just a staple pizza joint in the area, you’re one of the staple DINNER spots in the area. I hope this helps motivate you to get back on track!

We ordered the kids a LG peperoni and cheese pizza and a regular cheese bread. Those were great but the pizza we ordered for ourselves was not good. We ordered a Detroit Deep Dish and it looked nothing like the picture. It was burnt and so spicy we couldn't eat it. It was very disappointing.

We have ordered from here no less than 2 to 3 times a month for the past 2 years. I've left good reviews and have even called the store to thank them when we were received our orders. There have been many times when The order wasn't the best but we never complained. And there have been many many times that the extra sauces we ordered and paid for were not with the order. And again we never complained. But this time the sauces we're not there so that item could not be eaten by that person. So we called and we're told they credit us but they would not deliver them because they were too busy. So I asked for a credit on the cheese bread and was told no they wouldn't do that. if we hadn't already waited over an hour for our food I would have drove it back and got a refund. We dealt with the Torminas on Cherry Hill in Westland for for over 25 years And always had amazing service. I guess they valued their regular customers a little bit more. We will not be ordering from this store again and that bums me out. but I would rather drive to the Wayne road location then support a business that doesn't appreciate or value their customers.

Great pizza, very rarely got my order wrong, and a cozy quaint shop

They wouldn't honor an online coupon that was on their website and their explanation was vague and not kind about it. The bottom line is honor the coupon or change the website. Food was good however.
