Tony's Coney Island & grill

Great food and even better atmosphere. This place is definitely not your average Coney Island restaurant. The waitresses are always kind and nice to talk to as well. Special shoutout to Tiffany, Robin and Addy for making my experience a pleasurable one today. This is the place to stop if you’re ever on your way home from Detroit Metro Airport.

We stopped to eat. My husband had lunch and I had breakfast. The hamburger looked good and the waffle was nice and fluffy and so were the eggs. We stop here periodically, when we are visiting New Boston. I took home some Chicken Lemon Rice soup and it was delicious also.

The broasted chicken was hot. It came with a big scoop of fridge cold mashed taters and mixed veggies. Not great guys.

Decided to return to this restaurant to give another chance. My husband and I ordered the broasted chicken meal. Got it home and the portion size of the potatoes & correct was for a kid size. Called to complain and was advised that it was a new person on nights. I don’t understand what that has to do with my order, because I picked my order up around 3:20pm ??‍♀️. As you can see we had gravy on the side. There was more gravy than potatoes. After tasting the potatoes, it had a weird taste. The corn was a bit dry. The chicken was ok, it lacked flavor but it was moist.

Quality, quanity, and does the price accuately reflect both?
Absolutely, the quality (taste, texture, & appearance) was perfect. Fresh vegetables, homemade dressings that taste amazing, and most importantly it comes exactly how you ordered.
Huge portions, you will get a lot of food. They know exactly what to do.
Extremely affordable, you will be happy to spend your money here.
Fast efficient service all with grace, kindness, and respect.
A coney island with a higher standard and is truly a family owned gem. Left there wondering why I did not come here sooner and will without a doubt go out my way to eat there again. Thank you all at Tonys coney island for everything you do!

Food and service was great. We will definitely be back. The only thing I dislikes was the Greek dressing. I hate beets and I think neet juice was in it. Server offered to remake salad and I told her absolutely not, it was my fault. Highly recommended

As an early bird, 6:30 am works well with the exception that the grill gets turned on fully by 7 am... quick and easy in and out as I head to and fro DTW. Cheers!
